Excellent research and video, I found that Gable Inverted 1/2 is good for protecting my dart traps, Stairs 01 I've been using for years and are great for hoarde bases (zombies tend not to hit them as often and path right up.

Good stuff! I normally go for more robust, but I'm using the railing stairs in a current build for the living space.

Ooh, this was really interesting. Going to have to do some research and see what sort of wacky base I can build. The hidden turrets under the floor thing looks hilarious, if I was ever on a PvP server I would love to mess with people with it.

Thanks for this content. I have a bud that’s a bit of a rookie to 7 Days, and this will help him a lot. Will you consider doing one on the blocks that light passes through. I don’t have a good grasp on the topic to try and explain it, especially with the blocks with the arrows pointing different directions.

I could see that “magic” block having some use in PVP multiplayer servers. So other players can’t really tell where the turrets shooting them from

The Confessional blocks are great for building with, for aesthetics, as you can paint them with multiple textures. We have changed the xml so we can place them against the wall as well as having the centered one. Great video, thanks.

Good vid eko. I like using the catwalk v1 rail only on the outside of scaffolding ladders facing the zoms as they line up near perfectly with the rungs and can't be climbed. otherwise I use double scaffolds facing me as you can drop turrets between them. I also found many of the catwalk rail only blocks have proper meshes now so you can do everything through them, but the ones with the catwalk still have the non-reach through mesh. And that magic block is just hilarious. While pvp servers are rare for the game it is quite the game changer for hiding away turrets and traps.

Using the super thin centered pole "edge centered" is effective as well, very difficult to shoot your self and the Zombies rarely hit it while halting their movement. Its just a pain in the A... to stack. LOL Great video, love the architecture of your testing area!

The v2 rail is the extra magic block because if you place it against two flush blocks (like a doorway) it disappears granting structural stability you can move through, like we used to do with plates and sheets.

Love the double double end. Made a floating zeppelin base using advanced rotation and placing sideways, although I did still have to make a ramp for zombies.

Clearly they don't ... because we have a ton of new players due to the 1.0 drop as well as console. Also from alpha to alpha theses have continuously changed.
