Great video! Glad to see 👀 ya'll injoying the boat 🚢 after all that Hard work. And Thank You for taking us to some very Beautiful places. Unfortunately on a Island you only have so much land. And with time more people move on the Island and the more expensive it gets. Unlike the Big Island of Hawaii, where it is still growing more land. The funny thing is we have seen the land here and the homes here go up. We got our home for 175,000.00 back in 2017 and today it is worth 450,000.00. Big jump in 8 years. But you can thank COVID for that. Doing that time people still went on vacations and instead of going to Oahu or Maui they came to the Big Island. And fell in love with it. And it is way cheaper for land and to build here on the Big Island VS Oahu or Maui. But with time that too will change. That is one thing you can't stop and that is Change. And Now with star 🌟 link you can work from anywhere. More people are Moving from the cities and out to the most Remote places on the planet. Just like when Henry Ford started building cars, people moved to the country and that became the Suburbs. And Now Tiny homes are a big thing. And with Technology almost all can sail ⛵️ the world 🌎. Which I think is a good thing. Sail and see 👀 the world and learn new things and people. And you will find most people around the world 🌎 are the same as you. So Thank You Again for a Great video. And I will be here on my lanai waiting and looking for your sails ⛵️ on the Horizon. So until next time, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Aloha and cheers 🍻

With Cortes people aren’t complaining about people moving there to be part of the community as much as they’re bothered by people buying homes that used to have locals in them, but now only have people summering there for a week or two out of the entire year. You’re right change is inevitable, but we can do that change a lot better than we have been 🤷🏻♀️

So ask him to see you guys out sailing again! Seems like such a short time hopefully it does to you too. Thanks for the wonderful scenery and very much appreciate the commentary. It’s a sad thing that people think they need to own a piece of wherever they go to the exclusion of the people originally there.

Nice to see you arriving in my YT inbox! 🙂 here when we returned home from the little holiday on s/v Laysan we learned that Harbour Air is abandoning the Vancouver-salt spring-Maple Bay route. What a bummer. Hey everyone: If you can, write an email to Harbour Air asking them to reverse this devastating decision for the Cowichan and Salt Spring communities. Cheers,

Awe really?! That’s weird. I wonder why
@Coyotehello3 ай бұрын
@@WaywardLifeSailing It is really weird pour boat slip is literally 100ft from the HA landing dock. We see people going in and out of those planes on every flights. Love to se you are back on the water BTW.

Have you though of adding a simple boom /jibe preventer? (even using hiking gear) As a ex-racer all that kind of gears are sacrilege but as we are easing into cruising jibe preventer, wind wane, roller furling start making a lot of sense, LOL.

Do dogs get sea sick? For some reason I never thought about it....till now. My hunch is that they can and do. But that's nothing but a hunch.
@WaywardLifeSailing3 ай бұрын
Yeah they def do. Max got sea sick at the dock in a storm one time 😞 so far so good under sail though!
