I’ve done lots of grilling, but bicochan charcoal takes it to the next level. That’s why the grill guy can pump out so much product. The coal is running 3-400 degrees higher than your standard grill. It was also interesting that he was using ribeye as his steak. The grill guy was super consistent on his meat temps. Impressive operation.

You can only cook steak like this with native Japanese beef because of the amount marble fat on the muscle fiber. In U.S if you cook steak like this, it will be chewy and tough to eat.

Little habachi grill, claims 100 made in 90 minutes? It's a cute shop but come on man. 5 at a time, must cook 20 times, at just 5 minutes already 100 minutes. Are these minute streaks? Can 33 people fit in there every half hour all ordering steaks?

@msbrownbeast
@msbrownbeast 6 ай бұрын
@@ju_p9011 But I read that charring of meat (or any food item for that matter) can be carcinogenic. The fire is most likely from the melting fat dripped onto the charcoal, and the food will for sure cook faster and taste better too. I once went to a place in Osaka where the customers cook their own wagyu beef sets over a table top charcoal. The waiter brought out a large bowl of ice cubes to help control the fire.
