He’s the reason it’s a failure. He saw the live service business model and saw infinite money, but he didn’t understand the human element. That only works if people WANT those kinds of games. And they don’t anymore

100% agree. Live service games are just a cash grab at this point. The support post launch is rarely their and 9 times out of 10 we get a game that can’t keep anyone’s attention more than a few weeks.

100% he brags on Hogwarts legacy selling so much but then wants to do more live service games. Then they flop and blames the developers.

Helldivers has proven that live service works, when done well. Or at least with genuine passion.

I agree Helldivers 2 has been a great example of the care and love that a live service game needs to be successful. Probably why it sold 12 million units in 12 weeks.
