This is a fantastic review! I sincerely appreciate your kind words my friend and I am honored that you chose to feature the Black Hat along side these other amazing designs from William! I know you are a knife guy and understand and truly use the knives in the field which counts for a lot with me. I think it is awesome that you see and appreciate the subtleties of that design as well. I am also a huge fan of the Nessy but I haven't been able to get a hold of the Fire N Bone yet. The truth is, William doesn't turn out anything less than stellar. I would like to share your video with my Facebook group and also on my YT community tab as well as long as you are ok with that. I think others would find your analysis of these knives interesting and informative as well. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and I wish you continued success on you excellent channel here my friend!

Thank you sir. It really is my go to woods/camp knife. Stout yet nimble in the hand. The knife is capable of doing more than I can. Feel free to use/share the video as you see fit.

I never called myself a trapper, but we have a couple of wild cats we adopted when we bought our home and have some cat food setup in the garage. Well, we've had two coons I've trapped in a live cage using the cat food the coons were stealing. I am now an expert trapper, haha! Just a fun joke for the day, but I've always been a fan of this channel. Aside from coons and ground hogs, I really don't live in an area great for a trapping lifestyle, but I do enjoy this channel and reading the Wildman books. I don't know what others need for survival, but for me, I just need a live trap and cat food! Maybe some corn to attract everything vegetarian!

Great review. I've been considering getting a quality knife for general use. I came across the blackhat channel and was impressed by the versatility and thoughtfulness that went into it. I to tend to not like finger grooves as I have large hands and long fingers. Most finger grooves tend to get in the way. Its nice to hear such feedback from someone else who doesn't care for them either yet liked them on this knife.

@@MysticalDragon73 The nessy is a great EDC blade. Does a good job in the kitchen, cuts rope well, opens boxes and does a pretty good job of light skinning. Small and handy.

@@Meattrapper oh really? Thank you so much for the inputs and awesome feedback. I'm watching the video again but how does the nessy handle compare to the blackhat? Ive got large hands so the PKS scorpion didnt fit well but the Blackhat was wonderful. certainly subscribed due to it being a great channel and video.

Sorry have a question not related to video hope you don't mind. I watched a video of yours about bucket traps for coon. I was just wondering if for back up. You place foot hold traps around the bucket it should increase the odds considerably.

How do you compare the Fire N Bone to the Triple X?
@Meattrapper4 ай бұрын
Big brother vs little brother. Virtually the same, just one is bigger, thicker and stouter. The Triple X also has a more stout, piercing point.
