WCW Blunder is a new mini series on the Wrestling Bios channel. The series will take a look at some of the more questionable moments, matches and shows that WCW put on during it's time in business.
Episode 1 takes a look at the May 3rd 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, a night when every match was contested under "New York Rules" as per Vince Russo's orders. The New Blood vs The Millionaire's Club rivalry was in full swing when this episode of Thunder took place, and the superstars who competed inside the ring would have their matches contested under New York Rules; No referee and no rules. Diamond Dallas Page took on Vampiro, Mike Awesome had a match against Sting, Jeff Jarrett vs Kanyon opened up the show while a big 41 man battle royal closed it. What fans end up getting is one of the most chaotic and messy episodes of Thunder in WCW history. The show gets topped off with David Arquette unintentionally falling through the stage and providing WCW fans with a great botch just before his title defense at WCW Slamboree 2000.
00:00 - Introduction to the WCW Blunder Series
05:06 - New York Rules
06:29 - The Millionaire's Club strike first
08:38 - Jarrett vs Kanyon / Luger vs The Wall
12:12 - Ric Flair vs Kidman
14:08 - DDP vs Vampiro / Sting vs Mike Awesome
16:23 - Hulk Hogan vs Scott Steiner
18:18 - The Battle Royal
22:27 - Final thoughts / Credits
