4:06 My Gramps taught me to drive and to drive a stick in a 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Edition. 4 speed on the floor. After my Gramps passed away my oldest uncle got the Fairlane and he gave it to his oldest son who wrecked it within a year. Totaled. I still haven’t spoken to him. That was 16 years ago. So a 65 Fairlane would really touch my heart.

I'm from New Mexico I'm 44 years old and I have been detailing vehicles on the side since I was 16. I'm also very OCD and so when I would detail a vehicle I would end up spending more time than I should on it because I wanted to clean it the same way I would clean my own personal vehicle. I'm watching you guys do the same thing as I prefer to do myself and for other vehicles. No half-assing it.I love seeing the vehicles come back to life and becoming beautiful again no matter what kind of vehicle I am asked to clean up for whoever it is. Thank you very much for the awesome videos. It's good to see a company providing help and also making friends along the way across the country for those who have vehicles that they trust and turn over to yall to bring back to life. 👍🏼 Keep up the great work.

Not Tigger (who is a sewn stuffed toy) --That tiger is the Tiger Paws tire icon, OR is from the Exxon "Tiger in your Tank" promotion, which, as I dimly recall was associated with GM's Muscle Cars. ALSO--the spun metal on the dash logos is called "Engine Turning", which comes from the Gold Leaf trade, where they use a velvet ball on a stick to twist circles into the gold, so it reflects a ton more as you move past it---you're guaranteed to see reflections from a bunch of angles.

Was always a sight to see them on the road with their shiny paint jobs, chrome rims and graphics on the car. I'm a huge Pontiac fan, and this is just really great to watch. As for what I would like to see... 1971-76 GM full size wagon (preferably the same as my old car, 1972 Pontiac Grand Safari) with the super cool "clamshell" tailgate. Pontiac didn't actually have big blocks and small blocks. They did, however, have two different sizes of main bearing journals, which people call big and small blocks.
@Musclecar1972
@Musclecar1972 16 сағат бұрын
Actually, Pontiac never made a big block, just big cubic inch, they’re all technically small blocks. Journal size has no bearing on bb or sb.
@therealuncleroadkill
@therealuncleroadkill 15 сағат бұрын
@Musclecar1972 yes, that's basically what I said. Some people confuse big and small journals for big and small blocks, even though they were physically all the same size externally (except for the 265 and 301, which had shorter deck heights).
@Musclecar1972
@Musclecar1972 15 сағат бұрын
@@therealuncleroadkill There have been some spirted arguments in here from Pontiac enthusiasts about this, LOL it doesn’t really matter, they run good, that’s all that should matter. I’m an Olds guy myself, but have owned many Pontiac’s as well, a lot of GTO’s but the one I wish I still had was a 63 Catalina Convertible, 421, Tri-Power, 4 speed, 8 Lug wheels, and it actually had front bucket seats, and a divided rear seat that mimicked buckets. I’ve never seen another one like it.
@therealuncleroadkill
@therealuncleroadkill 15 сағат бұрын
@Musclecar1972 yeah, but we're saying the same thing. I'm well aware that there are no big and small block Pontiac engines, what I'm saying is that some people mistakenly confuse big and small journals to mean big and small blocks with the Pontiac engines. Obviously we both know that's not the reality of it, but there are many who do not.
@therealuncleroadkill

@Musclecar1972 and that sounds like a really cool car, I would love to see one. I also like the Olds engines, I had a '78 Delta 88 ex-highway patrol car with a Rocket 350 and a Q-Jet, and boy could that sucker haul itself! The cop brakes and suspension were great, and it had a posi. I don't remember what gears it had (this was about 30 years ago), but it held its own against the then-new 4th gen Trans Am. We wanted to go all out on the highway, but the guy in the T/A flashed his badge and we had a good laugh at the red light.

My 71 GTO had a vinyl roof. Owned it for 43 years. I put the factory 455 HO functional Ram Air system on it. It vented through the hood.

Il motivo per cui guardo video come questo é per l’autentico piacere di vedere recuperare da voi, auto che molti giudicherebbero perse……ma sarebbe un vero sacrilegio non dare una seconda opportunitá ad auto uniche del genere, proprio come questa……

I watch your videos because I'm an old car guy and I like to see these old relics brought out of hiding and given a new chance at life. I really hope when these owners get these cars cleaned up, they'll develop a renewed interest in them and then follow up with what's needed to get them back on the road. They're history on wheels!

I watch your videos because I love watching you take extremely old vehicles that are in the bad shape that they’re in and making them look brand new again.. it’s kinda therapeutic.. I’m also the kinda guy who loves watching videos of restorations too.. especially guitar restorations.. oh, and I’m from Ohio as well!! You guys do an amazing job!! And yes, I hit the “LIKE” for y’all! Good luck reaching your 50,000!!

Your guys videos are really refreshing, the work you guys do by traveling around the US and restoring these older cars that really have their own story and owners that just cannot get it done themselves. Its just really unique. Thats why I watch and also why I sticked after watching the first video a couple of weeks ago!

I watch your videos because I like to see old cars revived. And I am originally from Cleveland. When I was growing up in the 1960 I often heard on the radio that Cleveland was "the best location in the nation."

That thing you use to remove the embedded dust is always nice to watch. Its job is so valuable. That’s what keeps the heel of your shoes clean when you get back in and drive. Watching RJ correct paint is awesome because he knows what he’s doing.

@ the thing they use on the interior. With the vacuum. It blows compressed air to lift all the dust. I forget what Brent calls it.

My first car was a brand spank'n new 1965 GTO, black exterior, red leather interior (with lots of Chrome highlights). 389 of course and factory tri-power, BUT with an auto transmission. Had all the girls in town till parents took it back as they thought I'd kill myself in it and replaced it with a VW. What a let down, course the girls became non-existant also 😒
