Truth. My biggest frustration with most Disney reviews isn’t the hotels, attractions, shows or park news in general, but the food reviews. I take them ALL with a big grain of salt - which lol, because Disney food is generally way over salted. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I’ve learned to watch several reviews then average them all out and still temper expectations. There are exceptions, esp in DL, but I try not to get my hopes up too high. Refreshing to see this on a cruise vlog because I can’t count the number of Disney reviewers who rave about DCL food and I’m just thinking that perhaps other Cruise channel reviews are more spot on for other upscale lines. There may be lots of reasons to choose DCL, but my hunch is that the food isn’t one of them. IMO. ☮️

⁠@@ckbarryI agree. I’m surprised when folks rave about the ship food. I’ve been on the Fantasy twice in the past 10 years, and both times the food was solid mediocre (and worse on the recent trip). It’s particularly disappointing given the ridiculously high costs of the cruise, and because the cruise was otherwise fun. I know Disney can make good food and beverages too. The problem is if I made a list of food items I enjoy across the Disney parks and resorts, I’m not sure anything from DCL would be in the top 50 or 100 except the Mickey churro waffles.

This was good fun! Had me chuckling at many points. Bonus points for the Oswald’s! Had to laugh at Disney’s description of panko…”fried Japanese bread crumbs”. Do folks need a description for panko? 🤦🏻‍♀️😉😂

P.S. In a restaurant that’s supposed to be of this caliber, why are the meat dishes boneless? That pork stood a better chance if it was a bone in chop, as did the chicken.

The lentil carrot soup description said smoked bacon also. Therefore not vegan. Did Rosanna try it by mistake? I always appreciate the extra vegan choices since I have allergies. Great reviews!

I think the entertainer companies are way out of line by constantly spending huge money taking down the Disney part of Walt Disney vision for his parks and keep it affordable for most families. But these newer people running these Parks are now interested in getting older kids to come back. But to spend $ 15,000 for one week is now become very difficult to offer this to their teens in the middle class families. Everything is being made for the wealthiest middle class and 1% of this country.. so you may see people leave to live in countries that are affordable now.
