Restaurant looks fab, as does the corn. Ribs looked unctuous, so much meat on them. Not sure I’d be brave enough to tackle the cod head but would probably love it if I was blindfolded 😂 And Gary, you’re much better looking than it haha. Looks a case of getting what you paid for, looked amazing!

The staff table interaction with the clients is a cute move, they really seem to know that a place at the table, spending earned money, is not only taste and appearance of the dish, but the understanding and involvement of the recipes and ingredients from the staff that prep and cook ..... The Fallow's You Tube channel is well worth a watch, often from a chef's POV as they cruise through service. Captivating and gives you an insight into how this restaurant strives to provide plate after plate of great food. Looking forward to visiting it at some point.

The beef ribs used to be a butchers secret. When I was in 'the meat game' The ribs as shown were the cheapest and tastiest cut. The meat would normally have gone into the quality mince. As for the cods head, again it used to be the cheapest of cuts, not too disimilar to a pig or cows head where the 'cheek' meat is probably the most tender and flavoursome. So, you have been served what the working classes would have eaten but, todays people can't be bothered to deal with. Great review. Thank you.

I'm from a fishing family in the north of Scotland and my great uncle loved cod heads. He would boil them in a pan with potatoes, he always thought it was the best part of the fish. Unfortunately I couldn't agree with him🤦🤢😂😂😂

Thanks for a fantastic video!! Every dish looked so good! Fish head is a common thing in Asia. In Malaysia it’s usually cooked as a curry. The meat on a fish head is the smoothest! We grew up eating seafood with heads still attached but when colleagues/friends from the U.K. or US visited Asia, they’d be quite horrified by the heads 🤣🤣🤣🤣, even prawn heads..😂.

At Fallows I had never seen cod's head that big. My late mum bought fish heads from the fishmongers . She made soup out of it called Fish Tea which is a Jamaican delicacy. The chef was thinking out of the box with these three course meals.

As you get more famous, you may have to desguise!! Lol. Cameras / loud phonesare a pet hate in restaurants but you show respect for fellow diners, and all ppl in general. For that 10/10!! Hi Gary! As a naive Aussie, I can't say I've ever heard of this restaurant. Loved the interior, it's beautiful. Fallow looks like an ideal location for a lovely meal out with a partner. Could see from your expressions with the corn ribs, just how much you were enjoying them. ☺️ I'm not one to order beef ribs myself, but how the meat just fell off the bone was incredible. It looked absolutely delicious! The Cod's head... That is simply too adventurous for me 😅... But I'm glad you were pleasantly surprised & enjoyed it so much. The dessert looked absolutely delightful & too pretty to eat. Wonderful review Gary & Fallow seems like a brilliant restaurant to visit in Central London. Certainly a 10/10. I do suffer from some insomnia, but my work hours are all over the place at the moment, so that's mucking things up for me too. If you are only sleeping around 4 hours a night, then it sounds like we are cut from the same cloth! 😅 I give Gary a tonne of credit for still being able to reply to all the comments. Same, I don't think I've ever seen that anywhere else. You can see how Gary cultivates the channel & that it will continue to grow. I've seen some other food review channels which have hundreds of thousands, if not a million or a couple of million subscribers, yet the video views can be quite low & they don't respond much to comments, so things just go stagnant. I think too, that others are in it mostly or solely to try to make money, but with Gary it's different... You can see how much he enjoys doing the reviews & that he wants the viewers to really enjoy it too. Some people have an "X" factor about them on-screen & Gary definitely has that. The Cod's head! 🤣 I couldn't do it... Maybe if It was a challenge on The Amazing Race, but that's about it! I fully agree with you. So far,I think this has to be my favourite! I agree on your comment, when the custard pie opened, it summed up the entire experience....no shortcuts or food on the cheap, as we saw the strawberries flow out!! Attention to detail/ Caring about the diners experience. Had the pleasure of dining there this past August when visiting from the US. The service was amazing! We also had the corn ribs and beef ribs which were just as good as you said along with a burger. I would like to check out some of their other restaurants when we return as well.

Cod's head was huge! A lot of people these days are very fussy about their food, "Can't eat prawns when they're looking at me" etc. My fishmonger gives me free heads and tails to use as stock material, but to tell you the truth, the heads have all the flavour. Well done Fallow 👍 10+

Personally for me gary thst is the type of places i like to see, anyone can get a breakfast, or a curry, but to see the quality establishments with great service and top cooking of quality ingredients is what its all about. Hi Gary and Mr Cameraman Well as soon as i saw this place and its interior i new it was going to be a good one. Firstly Corn ribs, i won't lie that's a new one on me, but they looked good and clearly tasted amazing. The short ribs, wow talk about tender fall off the bone meat, my mind went back to The Grey Horse in Kingston, i personally think those ribs were of equal quality. Now the star of the show for me was the Cods head, a dish that has been around for a lot longer than people may think. Sadly as soon as you say Cods head, people think the same as they do about black pudding, and foie gras, offal, or a cruel food, but its an amazing dish as you discovered. As for your desert, that was lovely and resembled one i had in France many years ago. Great clip Gary and defiantly a 10 from me. Chris.

Hey Gary, if you like this style of restaurant and you ever find yourself in Germany, I highly recommend „Henne Weinbar“ in Cologne. I recommend going with their best-of surprise menu, since there dishes are made to share and come in smaller portions. Cheers!

Watched their KZbin channel for a video on how to make risotto and they seemed extremely professional and laid back at the same time. Thats the perfect combination of a good chef and restaurant. I never thought id see a 5-6 minute video that covers all the details on making risotto without ANY extra yapping etc.

My cats were kindly given a whole, fresh trout. They’ve never eaten a whole fish before but enjoy tinned sardines and pilchards. The 3 of them took about 4 days to eat the whole fish (raw) and oh my, they enjoyed it immensely! But. Even these three didn’t eat the head or tail. Glad you enjoyed your fish head!!
