that old 'dump truck' looks like it was a 12Ton Euclid; I used to drive one back in the day, when I worked in a stone quarry. They were powered by a 6-71 Detroit with a 5 speed gearbox. We'd consistently load them to more like 18-20 ton and it'd still get after it ;)
