We Actually Made a 2024 BINGO Card...

Welcome back to part 2 of "that was not on my 2023 BINGO card" and our FIRST episode of the new year!!! 🤪
Thank you all so much for the recent love and support and we could NOT be more excited to get back in the studio and start filming.
2023 was a year riddled with MANY firsts for the industry, some good and some bad, but I truly believe 2024 has the potneital to be a year that goes down to define music, movies, and internet culture for the next decade. We thought it would be fun to make a game out of it, and have 2 separate BINGO cards full of predictions. Throughout the rest of the year, any time a prediction comes true, we will mention it in the episode and discuss how we think it is going to come to life.

My predictions 1. Sabrina carpenter will release an album called “tortoise”(like she said in her variety speach) and it will be tropical themed (which is ironic because tortoises don’t live in tropical climate) and she will write the whole album herself (like speak now) 2. I think that tictok will be the new Spotify/KZbin in 2014 era and artists will be able to post music vids on tictok. They will also be able to make ads for their vids. 3. A hunger games muscial full of songs like cant catch me now and safe and sound/phoebe bridgers styled songs. it will also make start a trend in indie musicals! 4. I think that snl will have many skits and performances go viral. like tate mcrae, olivia rodrigo's tiny a$$ bag, and rachel mcadams introducing renee rapp. 5. Award shows are going to be it again and will have tons of drama and viral performances. I can’t think of anymore but I’ll edit this when I do this about more :)

Sabrina has some film projects that she hasn’t even started on so I kind of think she’s going to go back a little into her acting. When the ‘emails i can’t send’ era started she would send us emails and use her insta to give us little clues to new singles and eventually the name of the album. She airdropped to some fans an address to the tracklist for Singular Act I and airdropped the Singular Act II cover in different locations too. She’s always been playful with it. It’ll become obvious once she starts hinting at a new album for sure

The whole film thing you talked about with high quality on TikTok, I think you guys so far were sooo right about this especially because even before this KZbin video was made, we saw granola girls/guys exploring and filming their life on a camera living out of a mini van, or people use their editing skills to film short films that they post!

When talking about influencer bubbles. I agree. I also think we are entering a new realm we’re mainstream media’s standards are dropping, like for example Harry on DWTS. I’m seeing more sponsorships/brand deal for what has been considered “problematic” creators who consistently were not making money from those things because brands viewed them as too risky. That disconnect between human behaviors on a human brand seems to be dissolving a bit which will lead to even more visibility and saturation in big ways

Guys, I’ve actually heard that lauv received backlash for using AI to create a translated version of his song. There’s plenty of artists in Korea that release songs in English, Spanish, Japanese. And those artists actually sing those songs themselves, which is far more impressive. Some of the artists are nmixx, le sserafim, day6, yerin baek.
