Honestly this is such a great topic and discussion. I've been thinking a lot about this one myself. We all have our different perceptions of the world, different types of normals and many cannot sven fathom how others can perceive things differently from their point of view.

Sexual attraction is very VERY important to women, we just don't say it because it sounds bad ;) compensating bad looks with money is possible if women is desperate

Kyle Braschler and I talk about this over at The Unbound Podcast. As a Christian, I think another aspect of this is that it maps into the space that actual idol worship served or serves in premodern societies. Keep up the good work.

I would love to be on your podcast. I define reality and it’s 3 forms, each of their purposes and how these realities relate to the meaning of life. I have published my philosophy of life.

I suggest you do not have one, but one experiences a "psychotic break" (could be from drugs or even extreme trauma) the reason the brain does this is to allow one to survive an almost incomprehensibly unbearable situation. New perceptions will exist, at that moment, which creates an all new reality. to some extent, as Jung argued, many people are under some form of psychosis or what could be understood as an "outlying" perception of reality. He also wrote about this in an anthropological sense, meaning that generalized psychoses could infect like a virus. I honestly think we certain regions of the world where populations have mostly gone "mad" (Russia)

I love the concept but I don’t know much about it except the idea that people remember things differently than reality. Not sure why or how or even if it’s a thing. I’d have to dig into it.

Thanks for the comment. I agree. I tend to sound more angry than I am when I’m discussing something. Will put it in the “things to improve” bin.

@@CulturalCommentary glad you took it constructively. Me and my best friend have been talking about doing a podcast, but we're just like this lol
