Hey Ben, I remember when equipment was wearing out and going to the dealers and trying to work out the most cost effective way to keep things going. It was never ending, but we did it. Jobs on the farm go on forever, so many memories. Thank you so much for your amazing channel to share with us! Teaching the calf to drink from the pail made me think of how often they would buck the pail. It went well sometimes and sometimes I would agree with your Dad, lol. You're the best Ben! Keep the great videos coming!

You should try to feed brown Swiss calvesfrom a fail. Almost next to impossible.

You brought back a memory for me (from the 70s) training calves to drink from a pail as we didn't have bottles back then. I also remember a younger Denise Nuhn as I bought two pumps (electric one in the barn & a lagoon pump in the early 80s) - that was before they built the facility on Hwy 8 when they had their welding shop in Wartburg. Also curious about the small pit with all the solids - are you able to stir it enough to pump it out with out leaving solids behind?

I'll have to do a video about the pit! Thanks for the memory!
