Ooooh! Can't wait for next week! My son loves watching your videos with me, now. (He's the one that decided Turkey is now on our travel list, because of your videos!) He's a huge aviation enthusiast and was so excited to see the video of the new Istanbul Airport!! That was a really cool airport! Wow! Too bad about the no-snacks!! I feel your pain. We fly non-rev on Alaska because my husband works for them, so we've learned to bring our own snacks. If they are running low, revenue passengers get them first. I understand, but it's kind of a bummer. But for PAID Business Class, you'd think you'd get something more than water. Oh well. Still pretty cool. 😉

Turkish airlines had to stop domestic inflight service due to the Covid according to directive of Ministry of Health. But in october they started inflight service again.

My husband and I have flown Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Antalya on a few vacations we've had when visiting Turkey from Canada. Even though the flights were just about over an hour in length we were served drinks, sandwiches and cakes. Something unheard of on such a short flight in North America, where you're lucky if you get a bag of nuts. I read that Turkish Airlines made a lot of changes to its in-flight service as a result of Covid. I'm pretty sure the lounge would have had a better selection if not for Covid. Hopefully things will get back to the way they used to be ....the sooner the better.

Thats great to hear! We just thought it was odd that the flight attendants were making a meal for themselves, and clearly had carts full of food and drinks, but didnt give them out. We looked at the aircraft to see where it was going, but was only domestic flights. We hope things get back to normal, too!

We had SUCH a confusing time in April at Istanbul Airport trying to get home! They much have checked us and our documents at least 6 times before we ever actually got on the plane. But we LOVED Turkey! :-D

Yes, we thought the $15 was worth it alone. It was just weird as there was basically no inflight service.

Nice airport! How much was the taxi from Kadikoy to the airport? We noticed that there aren't many Americans here in Prague either.

It was actually under $20 to the airport at 5am and about 40 minutes...now, getting back to the same area from IST during rush hour is a different story. I think we say it in an upcoming vlog, but it was like a 3 hour ride costing us $50 bucks. Its all in the timing.

Yes, we sure would! Weirdly, sometimes the seats can still be uncomfortable due to the table and stuff stashed in the arms. Some new seats even have airbags in the seat belts, and extenders are not allowed. so many little things to think about.

Yes, It was just what we heard, but we did find out that so many things are from Turkey, even Kunefe.
