Regardless of the frankenstein factor, it's gonna be one more classic Corvette back on the road. Interesting side note: My early (Sept 1963) '64 coupe has the raised pads for the door handles. I've been told the pads disappeared before Jan '64. Fun video Mitch, I'm excited to watch this one!!! A+++++

Mitch this is gonna be a sweet tribute 63 and I can't wait to see the end result. Dynamic Corvette probably makes the best quality panels in the world I'd love to get their 69 wide body conversion kit for my 77. I am also in agreeance with you on this conversion it's not like this is a all original museum piece 65 to begin with. Even if it was like you said at the end of the day this is his car and he can do what ever he wants to to it.

I have installed their 6 taillight panel and their fat qtrs. I also converted a 64 coupe into a splitwindow using their parts. Good stuff for sure. Highly recommend.

Cool project, when you're starting with a car at this point honetly I just want to see the car on the road and not claiming to be a matching number whatever. If it were a solid 63, I'd keep it more as it originally was. My opinion.

There was so little to that shell to begin with, may as well do what you want with it. Custom C2's are awesome...a flared, 6 taillight, side piped, flaked coupe or roadster is on my bucket list, so I fully support this build! Will be super interested to watch it progress. What makes it a '63-only door?

Glad the owner went with new fiberglass. Love the split and wider fenders but I never really liked the 6 taillights , just my opinion. If you look at the Jeff Hayes restomods they look almost stock but are all modern.

Its gonna become a beautiful car. Remember what i once sait , if Corvettes were to always remain the same they would have been made by Ford and called Mustang. Happy Days Happy Days, 6 tail lights, flares and maybe Hooker sidemounts? Put your own touch on it, its you. I wont miss a second of this build. Thanks it was a great video. Full speed ahead Mitch.

Back in the day.......people I knew who had split windows were converting them to one piece glass. Now it going the opposite. Should be a nice car and the owner gets exactly what he wants...... why worry about what viewers think. They can build their own cars exactly how they like them.
