I feel you on having never been to a real concert! I'm 31, and I just went to my first REAL, full-blown concert on March 31st this year. It was actually Taylor Swift, I was lucky enough to be able to snag tickets for the Eras Tour for my 9yo daughter and I during the pre-sale. They were nosebleed seats, but we went with my sister and nieces and had such an incredible time. It's really motivated me to try to get back into live music. This was my first time seeing live music in 12 years. When I was a teenager, I used to go to metal/post-hardcore shows, but they were the kind of shows that were maybe $15-$20 per person, with a max of 200 people. A couple of the bands I saw went on to become quite well known, but they weren't big when I saw them. If you can't afford big concerts right now, I highly recommend trying to find a small local venue that hosts smaller musicians and check the artists booked to see if you like any enough to go see them perform!

You need to go to a concert because there's something amazing about a bunch of strangers together for the same reason, screaming lyrics, jamming out, & with no real thought becoming a crowd of friends! It's an amazing experience & i really hope you make a point to go at least once! Much love!
