They have a frozen anti matter legion in the snow. Other note, jarelo 6 is a big planet and we only know belobog which is one city.

Yeah you are right, i am making an assumption based on belobog being the only sole civilization that survived, but it is a planet and there is always a chance there is another group managed to survive the eternal freeze. Thank you for your input sir/mam 🫡

Yeah, what makes me really curious is whether anti matter legion soldiers are composed of organic or inorganic beings like screwllum. If they organic, they are most likely be dead after being frozen for so long, if they are inorganic oh boi things might get ugly

@@kkacehstrive with the lore of the antimatter legion being people that destroyed themselves to be remade under the power of destruction and the fact when they die they collapse into themselves into what looks like a black hole I’d assume they aren’t really susceptible to simple things like freezing and aging.

Correct me if I am wrong, (I joined late) but wasn't there a treasure hunting event with the premise of excavating the planet's ancient ruins? Maybe before IPC, the planet already hid dangerous secrets which Alissa Rand ultimately used to quickly build their own robots. Sampo investigated this, thus creating the mysterious routes he later used to drag us + Bronya to the Underworld. We then cross the PoC bridge to this underground area, and the devs bring back the old event and make the puzzle a permanent fixture for the new area. (saves resources) With how they set up Rubert and his successor in SU and the news broadcast, maybe Rubert II's tomb was also in Jarilo, and all the traps/machines there are at risk of destroying Belobog? (maybe this even ties into why Cocolia finally snapped and gave into the Stellaron's vision for wiping the slate clean)

My theory is that this interaction happened prior to the Trailblazers arrival on Jarilo and the "disaster" they're talking about are the story events.

Yeah that seems much more likely. Otherwise we probably would have seen the real sampo in penacony anyways. What we saw was just a dream bubble that told us about those events that happened much before the trailblazer arrival and nothing else.

But the companion mission is placed after the jarilo 6 story, how should we know that is a conversation taking place even before that?

@@manuelbonelli3690 Flashbacks are a literary device used in many pieces of media! Honkai Star Rail has made use of them before this point so that conversation didnt necessarily occur in the chronological order it was presented. In fact, I think that the mention of the jarilo disaster was to make it clear to the viewer that the conversation was a flashback.

@@bevsii yes but the flashback could have been form 10 minute before the black swan quest or week before. Assuming it was weeks before. Why would sparkle or even black swan already in peanacony way before the festival? As there is no real reference to assume it was before the jarilo 6 story we can't say for certain when that happened and what Sampo was referring to

I mean the Express crew was supposed to go to Penacony right after Jarilo originally so I don't think it's that strange that they were there before the crew made it to Jarilo (They only stopped at Jarilo because of the interference IIRC, an the story in Jarilo only spanned a few days). Also even without the festival there is no reason for BS or Sparkle to not be there? Likes, yes there is no way to say for sure... but it's pretty clear that that was just mentioned to establish that they were in a flashback.

@manuelbonelli3690 nope, nobody ever seen his body. If you continue the quest and Natasha said he wasn't dead, they just let him leave into the blizzard, and then you find out he created a medicine to survive the extreme cold. It's just that no one knows where he is.

I mean... the most obvious course of action is that "what will happen in jarilo" is a continuation of topaz introduction quest and diamond comes directly himself to evaluate the planet

Fair suggestion, but i dont see why that would put jarilo in a big danger and require sampo to get his mask back. If diamond turns out to be bad, it is hard to imagine to see the issue to be concluded in one update
