The reason Sparkle doesn't have 100% Action Advance is because she could loop with Bronya if she had it, with S5 DDD existing this means that you could make the enemy never take a turn. Neither Robin or Sunday can activate their AA as consistently or even straight up activate in other Harmony units.

I started playing the game a year ago when I heard Dr Ratio was free and I'm glad I started at the very beginning of the patch because I somehow got e1 Ruan Mei and she basically propelled my account as the time goes by lol

I lucked out as a self-proclaimed harmony collector since I started playing the game, at the time I had no idea harmony units were so powerful until the release of ruan mei and since that day I truly understood how powerful and important they were (especially cause I saved up to get e1 ruan mei)

if anyone here is lazy (or unlucky) like i am when it comes to farming relics again, you can play hyper speed sparkle (if u already have her build that way, she will work as pseudo speed boots for the dps) and 134 speed sunday plus base speed dps. and their buffs work together very well. i tried it with both yunli and argenti and i was able to spam their ultimates like almost every turn.

im saying this as a fellow sparkle enjoyer because ive seen a lot of people being sad about her being power crept. shes still very useful if you want to try a different play style.

That’s exactly my build lmao I run hyper speed sparkle (161) 134 Sunday with a o speed dps mostly with my seele and jingyuan works very well the dps has both of their buffs 90% of the time and honestly I am just happy to use sparkle

Rumors say Remembrance units don't like any other single target buffers besides Sunday. Apparently memosprites count as a separate unit form their summoner so basically : R.I.P Bronya, Sparkle and base form Tingyun. All hail Sunday, Robin and Debuffers

I'm so glad to hear the Sparkle appreciation 😭 Especially with Sunday's release, there's a lot of hate towards her and people acting like Sparkle is the new Arlan or some shit. I got her and her signature lightcone, and I'm still playing with her, even though I pulled for Sunday. She's still great!

Thanks for the video! It was a great recap of how harmony characters have changed. Ruan Mei was actually my first 5 star (I started playing during her banner since I heard DHIL might get a rerun soon, and he has my fav character design by far). I had noooo clue how good she would be. Then of course I got Sparkle for my DHIL, and I'm grateful to her for making my DHIL usable for so long! However, I'm rather sad that Sparkle just isn't doing well ever since I got DHIL's e2 last banner... her buff only lasts 1.5 turns, so he loses it when advancing himself. I picked up Sunday (and his lightcone) for my DHIL. Sunday generates MORE skill points than Sparkle somehow... plus giving energy and 100% action advance, without even thinking about summons... like what were they on designing his kit... But, also, why not both? I find Sparkle and Sunday actually do work together. I can advance DHIL with Sparkle, then with Sunday, and then he can advance himself with his ult, and all three of those turns are buffed by either Sparkle or Sunday!

robin skill provide 50% dmg bonus btw.... so yeah not 25. ruan mei dmg bonus doesnt affect break dmg and dot is an archetype since the game has buffs where its just dot dmg similar break being an archetype break or superbreak dmg, follow up dmg/archetype. also defending sunday, he didnt try to manipulate us, he is just explaining his motif behind his actions

oh yeah, looks like I read Robin's skill at level one. thanks for taking the time to comment! As for Ruan Mei, I don't think I said that dmg bonus affected break damage in the video? The DOT comment was just a joke since DOT never gets any support. Also, don't feel like you have to defend Sunday, he's a broken unit and a fine character, just not my cup of tea (also he powercrept Sparkle lol)

CW: Unchecked rambling in response E2 Sparkle is a treasure on my account. Surely 3.x will contain a broken DPS that isn't Remembrance, right? Perhaps even a quantum one? I can hope and I can dream. She's a wonder with my E2 Acheron and E1 Jiaoqiu, and pretty much lives on that team. I feel like she and Jiaoqiu would get along. The 5050 gods said no to an easy Sunday (soft pity), I have no current summon characters, and I'm still keeping an eye on Sunday's character growth arc, whereas I'm already much longer invested in Tingyun's character, and now her ties to Ruan Mei (and I really want her E1 for insane toughness damage scaling with RM herself - make Boothill one-shot again). IDK what exactly the two of them are planning in the story, but the they're welcome to turn my Boothill into a Godslayer 😂 The "You could go pull him, right now" and "Harmony dictates the current or upcoming meta" in this video had me do a 10 pull and a couple singles on Sunday's light cone to see if it may indeed have been fated (cuz I'm not using my guarantee on him just to possibly lose a 7525, I always go for support signatures), I'm just not gonna use all my remaining pulls to hit pity on the LC, and then possibly again on him. Here's hoping he we get more triple rerun banners and I won't have to wait as long for him as I did after missing Ruan Mei's first banner (she's E1S1 now, thankfully). Harmony eidolons are the best vertical investment in the game, but indeed don't spend money (unless you have it to spare, and are honest with yourself about the cost:value analysis 100 pulls for $200USD for enhancements a digital anime character who you particularly enjoy). I have no regrets about E2 Robin either. I went for her E1, since I had no Ruan Mei on her release and wanted some of that sweet all-type res pen for my DoT team, finally retired Asta). Then her E2 because I only had a Dr Ratio hypercarry team with Aventurine for FUA at that point, so the extra energy regen was very attractive, and ofc the 16% speed buff because my luck with speed subs is, excepting a couple of pieces with 8-11, historically pretty poor. Fortunately I won every 5050 so stayed within budget, and now with a Feixiao Moze team she's just a delight to use. It seems I'll just have to wait for Sunday. Exo-toughness, a total of 100% break efficiency, superbreak damage and a total of over 90% DEF shred for my Boothill is tangible in the present, unlike the summon meta for my acct. Perhaps history of Nihility should be next? Debuffers are kind of in the shadow of Harmony, but I feel like that will have changed a bit with the likes of Jiaoqiu and Fugue. I recently used Jiaoqiu with Feixiao and Robin to 0-cycle Hoolay, and he's great with Dr Ratio, more consistent than Silver Wolf or Pela. It's also the path that I've always had ever character for, tho ofc the ideal is to have every Harmony character as well. Hoyo had got me in a quandry with these banners fr, but I think Sunday will likely rerun far before Fugue does. Cheers for the video, I really enjoy this series. This one clearly got me thinking deeply about my own account. I'm kinda amazed I bothered to type all this. Hopefully KZbin counts long comments as extra engagement 😅

How bloody dare you say that Sunday powercrept Sparkle when he's literally a super Bronya. His skill is just like hers with the action advance, he can cleanse a debuff with it just like her, he can recover a skill point just like her E1, and he provides a dmg buff like her's. Heck even the way you build him is literally just like you would a Bronya, right down to the gimmicky Crit Dmg investment because that's what his skill scales off of. He's Bronya 2.0.

Because Sunday did powercreep Sparkle. Bronya isn't powercrept because Bronya and Sunday have synergy. Bronya can Action Advance Sunday.

@blackmark2899 he can be considered powercreep for both of them, however Bronya is a standard five star as opposed to being a premium character like Sparkle. It's the same reason that saying that Yunli powercrept Clara isn't a huge deal. Standard units being weaker than premium counterparts isn't a huge issue...plus I of course, play it up because I like Sparkle.

@@Wandermidget Sunday is literally a better E1 Bronya at base. Just like I typed, his role and function is literally the exact same. He's just better because he can advance summons along with the target unit. Sparkle just functions differently in comparison.

@leda_pap One, being better than Sparkle is not a high bar. Sparkle was shot in the foot from her launch. Two, Sparkle just functions differently from Bronya and Sunday. Her role is different. The only overlap an increase in crit dmg.

I use her all the time, cleared Apocalyptic shadow with mono quantum this time around when though that teams been less than great for a while now.

Like, I saved up for e2 DHIL oh his latest banner, and I've been having a ton of fun with it. (To be fair though, spending money buying jades other than the monthly pass is way overpriced, and probably a waste)
