Great that they have a ton of stock of the 6800XTs and stuff, but the pricing is still obscene! Was that $1400 for a 6800XT? It's a $650 MSRP!!! It's mind-numbingly infuriating that retailers are still getting away with this kind of stuff.
@curtisbme
@curtisbme 2 жыл бұрын
The OEM's are typically the ones setting those prices. All of them have jacked up the original MSRP. I got a Gigabyte card for its msrp of 600 but that exact card msrp was 450 when they released it 2 years ago.
@RobertoDelTaco
@RobertoDelTaco 2 жыл бұрын
Although I agree, I hate scalpers with a passion. At the end of the day though MSRP is Manufacturer SUGGESTED Retail Price, so there's nothing illegal about it, it's just scummy, but you can't fully blame the retailer, if people are still buying at those prices then they'll keep selling at those prices, especially online scalpers that have them for 3x the price, if people started boycotting and just not buying them then sellers will have no choice but to lower price. Especially once stock starts normalizing eventually. TLDR - sellers are scumbags for overcharging, buyers are dumb for buying instead of waiting. I'm glad I got my 2080ti 2 weeks before 30series launch and was teased by friends, I don't regret it, and if I waited then I'd be screwed and stuck waiting, and I'm not dumb and impatient enough to buy over MSRP. I love gaming but tbh if I had to wait I would, it's not worth ever over paying for any tech, especially since you know it's gonna be obsolete eventually anyway

Hey guys, a tip if you want to cut down on RGB software bloat, you can use a cable adapter for your AL120's, connect them directly to a Corsair RGB Hub and control everything through iCue. That's how I do it anyways, I've been really impressed with the AL120's performance, ease of install and lighting! I personally have my RGB set up to be heat reactive on a curve, looks really cool! The RGB plug on the Uni-fans isn't really proprietary, it's just a bit older. I think they are used because it is a locking connector unlike the standard 3-pin D-RGB plug. Some Phanteks devices also use this plug. The phanteks stuff just usually comes with the adapters to go to the standard 3-pin. You can get or make them easily enough though. I found them on Ebay for dirt cheap.

Interested to see the temps with those Corsair xr radiators work with the lian li fans. The rads are almost strait through air and the lian li has marginal static pressure at full blast 1500rpm but is also quiet at full blast. I just bought the Ender 3 Pro from my local microcenter for only $100 during their promotion! Nicks going to love it. Such a good printer it's amazing and easy to use. It's insane the amount of value you get out of an ender 3. Definately get a BL touch as an upgrade though. You wont have to worry about leveling the bed anymore. Just click print and get a perfect first layer everytime.

19:00 you could put the washers in between the case and the radiator, that way they are not visible on the top of the case but hidden in between.
