I got lucky that I purchased a 3820 10 years ago and had HEDT upgrade path. Both my original locked CPU and this cheap 3930k have handled 4.75 and 4.8ghz for years! I'm actually really bummed to move on, as my x79 mobo was practically half price compared to current gen :(

The third gen has always been good enough for me for most of the games I play for the little bit of time I have to play them. and it is even still a reasonable experience in MOST games. Looking to upgrade my system but having trouble finding motherboards at the moment. I guess there is still a shortage in that area. And don't even get me started on motherboard pricing! When did they get so expensive?! I will keep holding out and looking until I can find something that is reasonable

Phil made a damn good choice with that eSwap X. I've got one, and it's response is amazing. The bonus about it though, is if it ever develops stick drift, you don't have to replace the entire controller. It's an eSwap. A module costs about $25 on amazon. If he wanted to change the entire look of the controller, those kits run from about $40 to about $170. The controller comes with two stick tips each. One convex, and one concave. Bump, or divot. Thrustmaster may have been a meme company in the past, but with this one, they struck gold.

That was a nice present for such good friends, employees, and colleagues. Their smiles alone should have been installed into one of those Kodak frame sample pictures. When you get a present like this unexpectedly, its hard to make decisions in the moment. But, they did get what they wanted the most. The 3080 founders card was an extremely good deal. I wish my local Microcenter store looked like the one in the vid... Ours is in an old strip mall and looks more like an episode of "Hoarders" inside versus the neat, clean, and orderly shelves in this location. I even noticed an employee in the background taking product from the shelves and dusting both the product and the shelf before putting it back in place. That was either a gratuity for the camera or they actually keep that location spotless. Probably the latter seeing how neat & clean the store was in the video. Cheers to Microcenter! That's the best kind of advertising dollars spent.

Gave my wife my CRG49 and bought a Neo for myself as an upgrade for my new system with a 3090. The old system for the wifes setup only has a 1070, but it can handle it no problem. She also doesn't game or anything, uses it for work/school. I use mine for editing, design work, trading, AND gaming. Works well as a multi-functional imo.

I started shopping at MicroCenter purely because of this channel, and I couldn't be happier. Got my 7900 XTX on launch day and also got an Asus PG42UQ, returned it because HDR in Windows is broken, and got an LG C2 42. The return process was so freaking simple. I've gone through 3 Elite 2 controllers. Each one, my RB button failed. The first one had left stick drift. I'm not getting them anymore. I also just got a new speaker bar on the 30th, because my old one is 8 years old. I got the Bose Smart Bar 900 with the 700 watt woofer. It do be boomin' though.
