DC, 3 kids in and all under 6 so my memory is fresh and this is what I wish people had taught me. Here's my tips 1> Teach them schedules (example, for bedtime lights go out, curtains close, noise machine comes on at the same time every day and in the morning same time to get up every day, curtains open, noise machine off, etc..) You teach them this and they adapt to the difference between day and night quicker, same with feedings if you try to get them on a 2-3 hour feeding schedule you'll find yourself waking up less and at the same times each night give or take 15 minutes. 2> its ok to let them cry a little... baby's cry, eat, sleep, and poop that's what they do. Crying takes energy and they wear themselves out, while they're down in the middle of the night and crying for you, just go in and let them know your around try to burp them just to be sure they don't have gas, check a diaper to make sure it's clean, but put them back down and let 5 minutes pass and then go back and just sing to them just to let them know you're there. They gotta learn to soothe themselves, its hard as a new Dad but it's for them and they've gotta learn soothing and not "Daddy's arms put me to sleep". You'll thank me later. 3> Everything is a memory, even the bad times you'll miss everything once its gone. Babies/kids literally change weekly and once its gone its gone, train yourself to appreciate the moment and to make time to be in it. Much love brother!

Love the talk! Wheeler, you go! I've got 6 children, ages 1-12 and absolutely Love my life, wouldn't trade it for a billion dollars! We sleep all night, and so much great family time! Couple tips 1. Don't talk twice 2. Momma and Daddy's relationship comes before the children 3. Let your children struggle and fail 4. No children in Momma and Daddy's bed! 5. Children thrive best with structure. God bless you, brother!

keep in mind kids (people) cant always understand the whole bond and experiences their parents did with them until later. i liked fishing with my dad growing up, but we never went crazy.. recently got back into as a mid30s and im realizing just how much he taught me about so much while we were out canoeing and fishing and wish i could have been more present and appreciative as a kid

Man, y’all be cracking me up! My favorite videos are always the ones y’all do together. 😂 Congratulations again on the new addition to the family, DC. One thing I can think of that y’all definitely need to get one day is a LifeVac. I hope it never happens, but one of the scariest things is to witness your kid choking on something. That LiveVac is a must have! To each their own, and I know it’s funny to see a babies reaction, but avoid ultra processed really sugary snacks/foods for as long as you can. It’s basically like a drug for kids and they will get addicted to it and it’s all they will want to eat. If you can afford it, organic is the best route to go when it comes to food and beverage consumption. There is so much garbage and fake crap in the foods they offer in stores today. Whole natural foods are the key to a healthy baby.

Products must have in case of tummy issues: Gerber Soothe drops and Gripe Water = Game changers. As far as child rearing, man just have your heart in it and trust the process. Nothing has taught me to take one day at a time and trust God more than raising a young' un. Congratulations, DC . Y'all are gonna be great parents.

A few nuggets: Keep the camera ready; Pay attention to your wife, shes gonna need you at times and not realize it because shes mentally exhausted; Remember, babies are sponges, they absorb what they see and hear; Last one, unless uou need a few more, the 1st day of school is gonna break your heart, frfr!!!! Hope this helps bruh. Evo225

DC..... honest question... when down to the wire..... why fish a bait that may trigger a "natural bite" rather than something that will trigger a "reaction bite"? Especially when the bite is almost non-existent and there is nothing to lose... no matter what, you have to swing for the fences.....
