Well, unless MD print C alternative, i think it's okay to let C as a "deterrant" to play max combo deck. Heck, statistic wise like during last DC, full combo deck such as mathmech perform worse than expected compared to branded and vanquish soul (both have good short combo to sit on when C resolved), presuambly due to bystial and C run rampant in the high tier.

That is literally every single player who complains about floodgates, they aren't even bad and they balance the damn game. How tf is it fair for someone to set up a board containing an apollousa, borreload savage and having various other interruptions and negates on the field and the opponent hasn't even started his turn? What are they supposed to do in that situation, "DrAw ThE oUt?" Dark ruler no more and droplets are the only cards I can think of that can negate a board like that, you could run sphere modes but that eats up the normal summon and sometimes isn't good depending on the deck you're running. Seriously all you floodgates haters complain, maybe if you sided properly or just ran lightning storms and harpies in your main or side, you wouldn't be complaining about floodgates. They aren't broken, they aren't typing, they are just annoying but annoying isn't enough to get it banned. A banlist is for cards that are broken or to slow a down a certain deck to let others catch up in the format. A banlist is so a variety and wide range of decks could participate. A banlist is made for balance. I'm tired of people bitching and complaining about cards that we have answers for because people's skills are that freaking bad. Floodgates don't need to be banned, you just need to side better and strategies better. Every deck is gonna come across that one deck that they don't have any side for and lose, it's part of the game.

Honestly as a massive infernity fan and been testing the deck with 3 archfiend for the day it finally comes back 3 does make a massive difference. It makes the deck alot more consistent and you don't need to run so many shit engines to get 1 archfiend into play, dd crow and bystials end you day with one archfiend and the biggest difference is having a second archfiend in rotation lets you loop it if the first one gets negated or stopped and you have easy access to revive the second one.

Completely killing Tear, Infernoble, Rikka Sunavalon, and Mathmech while leaving the most represented deck with a consistency hit and that’s it is a joke. Rescue Ace absolutely needed more than just a hit to the searcher if you want to justify making something like Tear literally unplayable. Would’ve needed both a limit to Air Lifter and Emergence to even come close to hitting the deck hard enough to matter. Just reeks of the ban list that hit Plant Synchro for no reason while leaving Windups untouched to push product. Can’t hit Rescue Ace too much despite having 30% top cut representation because then people won’t want to chase after the Sinful Spoils package
