YOU DID NOT MENTION HARRY BELAFONTE'S NAME❓️😳 HE WAS THE INITIATOR OF THIS PROJECT❗️ AND ALSO A GREAT LEGENDARY SINGER with hits like The Banana Boat Song, Day O, Jamaica Farewell, and so on❗️❗️ But you wrote down Dan Ackroyd's name standing next to him, who's actually 'only' an actor who could sing just moderately❗️❓️ 😳😳😧😲 ALL THOSE ARTISTS EVEN PAID A TRIBUTE TO HARRY BELAFONTE DURING THAT FAMOUS RECORDING SESSION❗️ WATCH: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6S5hKiurJ6kkMksi=9GtHOywf7KOGEhUN 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼😳😳😳😲🙁

I agree with you 100% about the way that song will make you feel, think about what others suffer & how one person can make a difference & if it catches on & gets to others so many can make a huge difference. I am a musician with a big heart even though I have little to give other than love & I was so impressed, Wanted to try & get the message out to others,so ai recorded it my way & alone sang that song, had a ball too. As you said I got goosebumps while I sang that song, thinking bout all those who sang it & all they put into it. So glad I got to know the feeling when I sang it,still do

There comes a time When we heed a certain call When the world must come together as one There are people dying Oh, and it's time to lend a hand to life The greatest gift of all We can't go on Pretending day-by-day That someone, somewhere soon make a change We're all a part of God's great big family And the truth, you know, love is all we need We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving There's a choice we're making We're saving our own lives It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me Oh, send them your heart So they know that someone cares And their lives will be stronger and free As God has shown us by turning stones to bread And so we all must lend a helping hand We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving Oh, there's a choice we're making We're saving our own lives It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all But if you just believe there's no way we can fall Well, well, well, well let us realize Oh, that a change can only come When we stand together as one, yeah, yeah, yeah We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving There's a choice we're making We're saving our own lives It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving There's a choice we're making We're saving our own lives It's true we'll make a better day, just you and mee We are the world (are the world) We are the children (are the children) We are the ones who'll make a brighter day, so let's start giving (so let's start giving) There is a choice we're making We're saving our own lives It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me Oh, let me hear you!
