Even an atheist can appreciate a good and clever treatment of music doen well. Great movie, good acting, and a demonstration that sometimes you need to modernize. Old thinking isn't always right.

Doesn’t matter if you believe or not. The lord moves in ways none of you and no one can understand. Someone could watch this movie not believe if a single ounce in god and may find a brief or simple spark into religion. That one little spark is the catalyst for bigger things. There are a lot of fakers out there who pretend to know. I’m not the one to judge but I feel this movie can be an instrument of god a little touch goes a long way.

All this hate and abusive comments, totally unnecessary and inappropriate. Whether you believe in some form of god Christian, Muslim, Hindu , Greek (zeus, Hera) or Norse (odin, Thor) etc does not take away the fact that these are just feel good movies based around a nightclub singer being hidden in a church because she witnessed a murder. i lve the moment when the teenagers peek in so unsure, and the priest happyily waves them in. this is what you need to get kids to the faith. I don't practice anymore, but i'll be catholic till I die. all it takes is a priest who cares. if you have that, you might lose y our religion, but you'll never lose your faith.
