If you could eat every single potato chip in Japan, would you want to do it? Or are we just crazy..

You're just crazy. 🤣 I love chips, but honestly, a lot of the Japanese flavors aren't all that good. My favorites are the Karamucho Strong Super Hot Chili (thick crinkle cut version of the spicy chips from this video), and Calbee French Salad (vinaigrette, a little light but the flavor is really good).
@chocjamie Жыл бұрын
I would be tempted to try some, but not every sort! It sounds like they are generally weirdly sweet and not too crunchy?

I dunno if I wanna try Japanese chips. 😆 That's a lie. Actually, this video wants me to hit this Japanese market near me do my own chip haul!

Omfg Emma I know this is super random but like, I felt so with you when you didn't raise your arms.. I suffer from a condition that often makes me sweat really bad, meaning I had to shower multiple times a day, because, as a woman, you shouldn't really be sweaty, right? 🙄 so I have to have medical botox injected under my arms every 6 months to stop it. It works amazingly for me, the only thing that has ever worked. I know that's super random but I love Emma to bits and this just made my heart melt a tad 💓 love ya Emma! (You once shouted me out on a live stream when I was having a super bad day and it made me so happy, you're a gem 💎)

Just to add, I really REALLY can't imagine what the hot, humid summers are like in Japan... I'd melt like ice straight away 🥲
@namine8 Жыл бұрын
I feel you on this! Do you by chance have hyperhidrosis? I suffer from it and it honesty is such a nightmare to sweat excessively. 😭 I considered getting Botox injections on my underarms, but in the end went with miraDry procedure and it did help. I wish there was more available on the market to help with such a condition. As awful as it is, I am glad to see others are in the same boat as me, and that we’re not alone! Wishing you all the best! 💕

Summer is coming, so why not trying every soft drink you can find? Or maybe the cheap Icecreams that sell at supermarkets or stores next to schools? How about comparing the ice creams that big companies sell at their restaurants? (McDonals, Burguer King, Pizza Hut, etc) 🍦 Or the best brands and flavours of syrup to ad to your shaved ice, so you can make your own kakigori this summer at home 🍧 I would love to see you try all Soju flavours too 🤣

Most potatoes from fries to potatoes chips in Japan aren't imported but all came from Hokkaido, which honestly good. Try some from omaiyagi from someone coming back from Japan. Please try out all the seafood snacks. I know Japan famous with it.

Emma seemed to slump in her chair a little bit more with each chip she ate. I'm guessing you each ate about 45 chips and had a good nap afterwards. You need to try some Canadian chips, like ketchup chips, all dressed, sour cream and onions and bacon hickory chips. Next up maybe do a video trying all the different kinds of senbei. Also, on the last video, I was selected for a prize and I tried to sign up to telegram to claim it but you need a cell phone to register which I do not have so please pass the prize on to another viewer. Thanks anyways. Good job TC.

The way the spice is described, it makes me wonder if Japanese in general have a spice intolerance.

Japan does not have a palette for spice. Their spice is more like ginger and wasabi instead of the Scoville heat kind.

Oh nooo I clicked on this video because I was searching for a specific potato chip I ate in Japan and I can't remember the brand. But they didn't eat it 😭(or did I miss it?) If anyone knows: They are basically potato wedges as chips and they come in flavors like salted, butter, cheese and truffels
