Oaxaca is definitely a food centre, agreed. Such a wonderful city to explore 😊 thanks for watching and commenting!

What a food tour! Oaxaca seems like the go to city for food in Mexico! So many unique and tasty looking dishes. The tacos looked so good and cheesy, and the Mexican flag dish... Wow! Interesting combo of creamy walnut sauce and pomegranates, it reminds me of some Georgian food that I ate on my trip to Georgia years ago, very similar. Another great video! Looking forward to the next one!

“Chiles en nogada” in a March? And in Oaxaca? Love Oaxaca but wrong time AND place. Come on now.
@HungryTwoTravel9 ай бұрын
Of course the dish is a Poblano dish only available two months of the year, but with us not being in Mexico during that time, and finding a place that does it all year round, we couldn't resist but to try it 😉
@rogeliocuautle41109 ай бұрын
@hernandogalvan94479 ай бұрын

I LOVE THE WAY YOU ENJOY EATING AND HAVING FUN IN MÉXICO AND I'M GLAD YOU'VE EATEN ALL OAXACAN MEALS!... 🤪😜😛🤩😘😗🥰😍😅😂🤣🙂🙃🫠😋 IN FACT THE SEEDS IN THE GREEN MOLE AREN'T FROM THE PEPPERS (CHILES) THEY'RE FROM THE TOMATILLO (GREEN TOMATO)...😮😅😂😊 OK, THE NOGADA CHILES IN OAXACA IS ANOTHER VERSION DUE THAT THE REAL CHILE EN NOGADA IS MADE WITH TWO KINDS OF MEAT CHUNKS(BEFF AND PORK), THE APPLES HAVE TO BE "PANOCHERAS"(ONLY AVAILABLE IN ZACATLÁN, PUEBLA), I DIDN'T SEE THE ACITRÓN(A FRUT FROM A KIND OF CACTUS, VIZNAGA), IT DOESN'T HAVE TOMATO, HAS TO BE COVERED WITH EGG, AND THE NOGADA MUST HAVE GOAT CHEESE, BUT IT'S OK THE OAXACAN VERSION, PROVECHITO...😮😅😂😊

Woohoo like#5, thanks Luis!! Interesting about the tomatillo, that totally makes sense. Yes we tried so hard to find Chiles en Nogada in Puebla but it was out of season. We would love to try it there, but were just happy that we could try a similar version in Oaxaca. Next time 😊😉 thanks again for watching and commenting!
