Thank you for posting these videos! I found your channel a few days ago when I searched for places to see in Mexico as I’m an American learning Spanish and wanted to learn more about the country to see if I might want to visit anywhere particular and just learn more about Mexican culture overall. It’s so nice to see how beautiful and vibrant Mexico really is. I really want to travel there now!

All the syllables in "Oaxaca" are pronounced, and the "x" is an aspirated "h" sound - wah ha ca. I've heard the "a" sound pronounced two ways in different Mexican accents, either "a" as in "cat" or "a" as in "car". I like your videos a lot - less touristy stuff, more walking around and seeing the local things which are interesting.

Great video, as always! I think at the moment you're my favourite Mexico related youtuber! I watched Crosby Grace's Day of the Dead vlogs before, and great to see it from another perspective, as well as all of the other interesting places around Oaxaca. Definitely on my travel list! :) Also, side note... how come I never connected that "guacamole" is basically guaca-mole (aguacate + mole)?? I can't believe it haha, you shortly mentioned it and my brain went 💡 ...and I also did think you are eating a tuna ice cream for a second!

My husband is from the Netherlands. We live super close to Mexico and go there at least once a year❤. We have travelled all over the world and we agreed that the US is probably the most beautiful country in the world. I recommend you check it out😊 (although it won't be cheap compared to Latin America or SE Asia)

Born and raised in the US. Lived there 67 years and traveled all over it. Now living in Mexico and visiting Oaxaca this week. We have also been all over Mexico and found that nothing in the US compares. The Grand Canyon for example. Copper Canyon, part of the Sierra Madre, is 4 times larger. That's just my opinion.

Thank you for posting great insight into this beautiful country. Great videos very well presented and in my opinion the best on KZbin. We are planning to go there in Feb 25 is this a good month to travel to Mexico? Weather wise ? Do you have patreon page for subscribers. Cheers

Yeah I really like Feb, it's a great time! It's dry season but not too hot. I don't have a patreon (yet?) but thanks for the thought and kind words :)

Weird criticism. TV programs have presenters - it's the same here. Whenever you see me (which isn't a lot!), I'm discussing the place.
