Agreed, last genuinely good movie was the second one. Also miss the 2D animation missing in every new movie they make now. The second movie has genuinely good writing and animation, it’s clear where the budget went with this, then you have the newer movies like sponge on the run. They’ve got no soul or care put into them and were made for the sole purpose of marketing off the fact that it’s SpongeBob.

Bro I fell asleep watching one of these videos and had a really vivid dream where I was in a J rotation with these guys. What if the Plankton movie is just about him moving on, funding a new recipe for a new food. The Chum Bucket becomes so popular that he didn't even need to become the ruler of Bikini Bottom by force. Krabs isn't getting any money, and Spongebob is almost out of work, so they try to steal Plankton's secret formula. We see Plankton going all Home Alone defending his formula. He has to make sure Krabs can't rob him for days until Plankton finally can't take it anymore and gives up the formula. The secret formula turns out to just be all the tears Plankton has cried after each failed attempt at theft. Or drugs, his secret formula could be drugs.
