Cars is almost perfect. • It has the best intro scene • The Graphics & art style • Nice Story • Good voice cast • & a great message Cars 2 messed up most of what the first film had, but fortunately Cars 3 did fix everything wrong with Cars 2.

My grandpa and mom both loved this movie so much. The atmosphere really got to Gramps in particular. Whenever we rewatched, just the entire history of Radiator Springs would make us cry. There's this feeling of bygone days they coulda really leaned further into. Overall, I really like the trilogy, even if I don't think they're necessarily good. Cars 2 is hilarious for me, and 3 always makes me cry. I guess Doc's backstory just brings out the Grandpa/Mom missing part of me lol

Lighting Mcqueen being prejudice against rusty cars made my jaw dropped. I’ve seen the first cars movie soooo many times throughout my childhood as an 05 kid. I never understood any of the actual context for the rusty cars scene or the court scene. I’m also poor and own a rusty car. I love my 2000 grand marquis, she’s a rusty bitch but she’s reliable The second movie being big oil propaganda would not surprise me. BP literally made the term “carbon footprint” to blame the average person for climate change instead of acknowledging that bug companies digging up oil and fossil fuels is killing the planet. Big companies set off significantly more carbon emissions than the average household. They’re just covering their asses for more profit, instead of aiming to lessen carbon emissions overall.
