Who would’ve imagined that Rigby would be more likable and Mordecai would be hated more as time went on for many fans, though some of the hate is overblown. The graduation episode is where I couldn’t stand his behavior. Although he still has his bad moments, Season 7 was definitely Rigby’s season where he wanted to genuinely improve himself and his one relationship with Eileen was better than any of Mordecai’s relationships.

Mordecai's behavior at the graduation was infuriating, I completely get that feeling of being left farther behind as time goes on, but if you arent proud of your friends accomplishments, crash your other friends wedding and make those moments all about you, then it's your own fault not anyone elses. (Also he would be rude to Rigby about not having a diploma, imagine being berated for that long, get the diploma, and still be treated with disrespect.)

Definitely not 😂 the first 4 seasons of Regular Show will always be the best. I hate when the show started getting story focused and less "adult". I also hate the animation in these later seasons because it's so stiff and has less personality

@@jayandjlps8022 i feel like it's a similar thing to adventure time some people (with no taste, but that's besides the point) tend to gravitate to the earlier seasons because they're less story and arc-driven, and each ep has their own little individual adventure which is wrapped up by the end i'd say both iterations of RS are quite enjoyable, the random hi-jinks of s1-s4 and the more story-driven stuff from s5-s7! s8 kinda sucks tho

Most of the main characters have their fair share of development. Benson gains a better grip on his temper, learns to not make everything about his job and becomes more torelant and nicer to Mordecai and Rigby, Muscle Man acts more friendly towards the duo and less pranking others, and the main duo themselves learn to grow up especially Rigby learns to become more responsible and mature. Except Skips, Pops, and Hi-Five Ghost, who are already good people, they have been replaced with their backstories and more of a hidden depths side instead.

Feels likes Mordecai and Benson are opposites on how they handle break ups...with Dumptown, Benson goes and is smart enough to know when he is well again and comes back refreshed and ready to take on another relationship while Mordecai went and got stuck in a self destructive cycle and was most likely going to stay permanently if Rigby didn't talk sense into him to come back...

I know a lot of people don’t like this later season because it’s less wacky. But I think that’s what makes this season special. Rigby is growing as a character and him finally graduating is a well deserved moment. The problems become less fantasized and are more realistic now because of that. This is where the show should’ve ended and not go into season 8. That’s where the show truly jumps the shark

I absolutely love Regular Show. Pretty much everything about it. But one thing I love specifically about this season is just how J. G. Quintel. The guy who made the show and voices Mordecai. Decided to give his best friend the character arc of being amazing while he just fumbled relationships, burned almost all of his bridges, and even acted like a jerk to those he cared about. It’s absolutely hilarious and awesome at the same time.

Another reason for decline in viewership in season 5 through the end of the series was just simply change in schedule. Cartoon Network was going through its own changes and cable and streaming where I'm going through the wars at the time. I remember I had trouble keeping up with regular show what's my daily work schedule sometime around season 5. I miss 90% of 7 when it first aired and is able to watch the majority of 8 but it wasn't easy. But for some reason people thought it wasn't zany enough that they were focusing too much on the relationships. Basically people who watch the first two seasons of any show and Bail no matter what happens.

Nah the binge did fine, we meant the individual eps. The algorithm isn’t messed up interest is just lower. And when interest is lower KZbin shows it to less people. Sometimes including people like you who would watch it. The binges generally have a higher interest so they have higher potential then the episodes standalone

Gary Synthesizer is probably my second favourite episode of this show(the first is still to come and it's also music driven) it's a great tribute to 70~80's synth music, and it reminds me of another tribute done by Adult Swim, a 10 min short called Live at the Necropolis:Lords of Synth which I recommend to you guys as it has the same chaotic energy as a Regular Show episode.(and if you seem fit to react to it, do it for us, maybe at the member page as it's the kind of content that fits best as a side dish) honestly, Quintel does so much cool stuff in this show that I can only hope for what's next. It seems that he's working on something new, after Close Enough(which was also great, but yeah, WB doing what they do) got cancelled. let's wait and see

*Sigh* okay, is it really necessary to watch Dumptown before watching the movie? No but it important to KNOW that the movie takes place after Dumptown. Think about it. If Mordecai went thru everything that happened in the movie and then suddenly felt depressed over CJ in the next episode, wouldnt it feel weird? There's a time and a place to tell these stories and immediatley after the film wouldn't have been it.
