This has all the makings of a classic Delos episode. Crazy markets, good sailing, strange animals, disaster, fishing and fine ladies. What more can we ask for?

I am always amazed at how casual you all seem during these long trips. You talk of the heavy swells and high winds but not with any sense of the potential dangers involved. Just a sign of how well you hold together as a true sailing crew!

@ 13:01 - It is absolutely SPECTACULAR that not only did you capture the whales in such great quality and with amazing stability for a moving boat, but you also captured the SOUND of the splashing. Kudos to you guys for investing in the camera equipment that would allow you to do that. As someone who's out here also living the dream, but not quite capturing the essence of the trip in the way that you guys have mastered, I really recognize how hard it is to capture that. Fortunately, I think most other people can appreciate that, that's why you have the viewership you do! Thank you for the time and effort of preparing, capturing, processing, editing and sharing these videos.

Brian you don't have to feel bad catching that Dolphinfish a.k.a Mahi Mahi. They actually are one of the most abundant Pelagic Species in our oceans. Their rate of growth and age of spawning is rather fast. Being an offshore fishermen too in the Gulf of Mexico, mad respect to you having that sense of respect for its life though, for it shows the utmost care and admiration of our oceans.

Hi all, the fruits you ate at the vegetable market is called Rambutan (red hairy skin). available in Asia- Malaysia,thailand and Indonesia. its a seasonal fruit. The second (green with blunt thorns) is Soursop.....very high in vitamin C.The smaller version is called Sugar apple (sitaphal in Hindi) very very sweet. Also found abundant in Asia. Happy adventures~.

Don’t get me wrong, but I am not a huge fan of her, she seems a bit snobbish and fake on camera, like she is trying too hard.. Perhaps it’s just the impression I’m getting and I am probably wrong. Some people don’t show their real selves on camera or are camera shy and that’s why their “true” character may be a bit distorted. I do hope, whatever they do, that they find happiness. Love watching them!

Yet another lovely episode from you guys fuelling my desire and dreams to go cruising long term and I'm pleased to say I'm one step closer to that with the purchase of my first yacht, a Tufglas 33called Clairvoyant. [Liz] Oooouuwiiiii! Mahi Mahi! Jamie's favourite fish! Q. Do you prefer sailing in the day in those conditions, or at night when you can't see what's coming atcha?! I reckon you gave that sail to a local fisherman or two...
@COUCHSAILORS7 жыл бұрын
" or at night when you can't see what's coming atcha" HAHAHAHA. On our first "offshore shakedown cruise" from San Francisco to Half Moon Bay we didn't calculate the tides very well and ended up in what were reported as up to 18ft seas by a buoy. I was shining the flashlight off the stern just to get a good look at the size of these beasts... they were the biggest I had never encountered before! Gina said "Think of the positives. At least we can't see it!"

Loved the video, as I do this channel. A safety point of reference for new crew, do not tether yourself to the leeward side of the boat. Especially if your tether is long enough for you to fall past the guard rail. There have been too many fatalities with crew falling overboard and being dragged alongside the boat in the water, drowning whist clipped onto the leeward side. The weight of the person and water pressure makes it almost impossible to perform a recovery. Sail safe and keep up the amazing channel! Thank you for posting.
