As a German I have to say it's absolutely good that swastikas are banned there, because most of us don't want THIS type of apocalypse to come up ever again. Sometimes inhumane and despicable symbols have to be banned because the values they stand for are a threat for democracy and mankind - and I'd say art being banned in "Raining Stars" is a very different, even opposite issue which of course should be prevented from happening in reality. But putting this serious issue aside, I'm absolutely in love with your wonderful reaction to my request, feels like the most amazing Christmas present you offer me here!🖤✨️🌠❄️ Have some magical holidays, my friends, and the same goes out to all Losties in the world - let the enchantment of Yule sink in and spend some peacefully solaceful time with your loved ones!🖤✨️ I mean, WHAT a reaction that was, wow!🤩 I knew you would love this eternal classic, especially after finishing the interview with Chris and knowing much more details about LOTL now. So I just needed to come up with one of their everblacks and you will soon get to see even more of them if you look at my upcoming requests!🥰🌠 However, "Raining Stars" will forever be engraved in my heart, especially as this monumental chorus will never get out of my head again. This is just one of these rare once-in-a-lifetime melodies that will accompany everyone with an open heart for a lifetime! If you know the overall story of the album "Empyrean", the lyrics would become even more heartbreaking - but to turn a nightmare into bliss with love is kind of a romantic sentiment, isn't it? At least a hopeless romantic like me always has to burst into tears like the actress in the video, each and every time I listen to this immortal banger!🖤✨️ On top of that THIS is my favourite version of "Raining Stars" - the original one. I guess I think the heavy approach suits the theme and the composition perfectly, and since I'm addicted to electronica this is definitely the perfect interpretation of the song in my view. When I get to hear the first beats after the intro, I could almost freak out because they sound mesmerizing as f*ck!🖤✨️🌠 Thank you so much, you two!❤️‍🔥

First of all: Thank you! And I am so looking forward to the interview with Chris... As far as your (!) reactions are concerned, I like all parts of it. 😇 For me, what you do and give is such a good match, because I am both a die hard Nightwish fan and a Lostie. Yes, that is possible although you really can't compare these two bands. But both of them give me personally so much in different ways with their music and art. Not to forget their mindsets. "No traps", no boundaries and an open mind is what I prefer in life (and music). But this is a LOTL reaction. "Raining Stars" is a captivating song that catches you immediately. It is maybe a good gateopener introducing someone to Lord of the Lost, too. Just like "One Last Song". Thanks to Elendil for the request. I am always thrilled when a LOTL reaction pops up. I mean...I live too far from Deutschland (Ukraine), and back in 2010 my mind was blowned up when I first time listen to them..."Dry The Rain" was the first song & step to open this incredible band! This is the song/video that drew me into Lord of the Lost. Then Loreley sealed the deal. It has been a trip discovering their other works that I now enjoy and the new releases that continue to speak to me. Reactions to this video in particular are ones I like to watch. The video takes its watchers through a roller coaster of emotions with a shock and the end that sticks with you for some time afterwards.
