What an awesome project for you guys! I loved remodeling mine! The worst thing to me was the cold that came up through the floor! I would look up that make & model of others for sale. To use for reference & get some idea's. Maybe some on weatherization as well! It's going to be really cute & I love the appliances! ❤❤

Can you insulate from underneath? (With straw, etc?) Though of course, that won't trap nearly as much heat as a structure with foundation....

check the outside corner trim.for leaks it will be leaking and you wont realise it. To ck it remove severat screws holding the alum trim in place nd see if it has rust or is the color brown of it is you have wood rot behind the trim and PROBABLY INSIDE THE WALL it can do a massive amt of damage. These things are bad to leak and you wont know it until its to late,resulting in massive wood damage. take it from some one who has been thru it all ..I have owed and repaired 6 of these beast Sadly my age dont allow it anymore 84.But I still love them and love to rebuild them. I guess they kinda grow on you.

I think the bed should go back too the back of the camper.the original way.which would make better space for 2 persons to sleep.and you can probably put some sort of pop up table,that you both can sit too and eat.and a small 2 seater couch across the other side.👍👍snow means slot of being inside,so make it as comfortable as can be.
