It kinda is and isn't at the same time. The shelf life that's on the box will usually be much shorter than real (unless it's like fish or something). A lot of products, especially dry ones, have virtually no shelf life if they're stored in a dry cold area. One of the best examples of it is fruit cake - they're made out of dried products and they are dried themselves. The oldest fruitcake was in an abandoned anarctic station where it was perfectly preserved for like 80-ish years

Fun fact, Carlos V is an actual chocolate brand that sells chocolate that isn't heavy on the sugary taste like other chocolates are. It's like if milk and dark chocolate had a baby. I grew up getting it from the bodega down the street from where I lived.

Other countries have food regulations that prevent certain things from being put in food for example natural dyes are used in Canada for fruit loops instead. USA however can add transfats corn syrup whatever really to make the flavor better. That's why the other cereals don't have a punch of flavor that's overpowering and also have more calories.

You misunderstood what you're looking at. Those are split bowls. The milk goes on one side, the cereal goes on the other, they don't touch. You take a spoonful of cereal, then dip in the milk. You can take your time eating and the cereal doesn't get soggy. The only one they mixed was the warm baby food that the instructions said to mix. All the cold cereals were kept in the separated split bowls. You can even hear the cereal hit the bowl on the no milk side.
