When Jennie said mandatory breaks the first time, it went to a commercial for vodka right after that. That was funny! Not sure if it was planned or not. Love you guys and I love the Stud Stack! Serious entrepreneurs need to join!

You are so right... I was guessing our brain ... My dad spent 27 years in the Air Force and about 17 years of that was being a master aircraft mechanic on C130 Hercules

This was so needed! I run 2 Etsy stores, have a 2. yr old, an almost 9 month old, run my house and we just started a youtube channel.. I feel like I go crazy trying to balance it all and have been told by so many people I need to make more time for myself. Instantly I would think I don't have time to carve that into my schedule but I LOVE the way you guys said to start your day and will be doing it :) Thanks for posting this!

I personally needed to hear this. I suspected you guys got burnt out after the end of last year. I'm going through this just in my day job scenario, not including trying to get a woodworking side-hustle started. Thanks for the reminder ot the most important tool...and for me, the most neglected one!

Jenna Davis when I was your age I wish I would have listened and listened and applied these very important truth s. I am still running a part-time would makers business I have abandoned trying to help my step-son who cost me thousands of dollars and I have stopped taking on too much I did it for 32 years as a chef. Unfortunately the term chef automatically comes with this evil word called overweight and obesity for too many of us and I have had to fight through getting healthy as I had a quintuple bypass last year I'm still trying to lose weight and I'm trying to get back on track to have an incredible retirement part-time would make her business😊😊

Is that the grizzly hybrid table saw??? I need a table saw badly but can't afford a saw stop so I'm looking to try to get either the hybrid grizzly or maybe one if the Harvey's. If that is the hybrid grizzly could you please tell me your thoughts on it. I've not seen one in action on any KZbin channels until seeing it on yours right now

I don't know, Yum brands, the owner of Taco bell and KFC owns over 55,000 locations and their stock is worth almost $130 a share. Lol. Of course, the people in charge probably don't eat that garbage. I totally agree that a healthy diet creates a healthy mind and body. I totally get what you are saying.

Mandatory breaks - good, meditation - good or any other kind of NSDR or concentration practices , visualising goals - yes.. Reading 10 minutes, not enough? ..but I am avid reader..that means I am swallowing on average a book or two per week .. Meals..what caveman ate... questionable, you remember yes, that they usually been dead at your age with that diet and lifestyle? :-) Exercising - plus, plus, plus... Good advices all around, thank you!

I run a very successful business. The truth is, it's not about me. It's about finding people of like mind that can run it just as well as you, so you can walk away. I could leave for months at a time, smoking cigarettes and drinking beer, knowing that I have the right people in place who can continue my legacy. It doesn't care about my diet. It doesn't concern my life choices. It's about the people I have in place, and that is it! You have to learn to delegate responsibility, train those well that you hire, and just step back and over see the operation. We sell nearly $300,000.00 a year of product, for our primary business, and though I'm still involved on the back on, I no longer need to be the guy running the show. I know that if I died tomorrow, the business is in good hands. And so long as those hands are involved in every step, it will continue to grow. Sorry Jenny and Davis, but your whole approach is contrary to those of us who do it all the time.

I feel like this is true. They are in the tough part where they don’t have the revenue to support employees on the table side of the business. (Now maybe the studstack and KZbin income should be invested in the table business but who’s to say if they want to do that). They have to get to that 500k to 1M mark where they can really hire help and stop working in the business and work on the business. It’s ok to be the manager of the business but for them to be in the shop is not the right move and will continue to overwhelm I think. It’s definitely hard to grow and hire employees at the right time when the business can afford it. You almost have to lean out of your comfort zone and hire when maybe the business isn’t quite ready. Hope these guys hire the shop help they need soon!
