I've REALLY been enjoying making pens - they're higher-end writing instruments that look good in business meetings or in suit coat pockets. But they aren't selling nearly as well as cutting and charcuterie boards.

Thank goodness for you doing this video. I am beyond frustrated with others that copy cat and then when it doesn’t make them what they want they go copy something else. I have really good selling designs that I personally drew up and then others copy and ruin the design that I had a meaning behind. To many are just wanting a quick buck.

As an old salty military dog, you said one thing that stuck out to me. I’ve seen many of your videos and you guys make sense. Out of all the stuff that I’ve made there’s not one “problem” that’s been solved at least I don’t think. My problem is I’ve given more stuff away than I can count looking for a critique of quality and any suggestions for improvement, and that’s maybe where I’ve gone wrong. Everybody says oh wow this is awesome blah blah blah, and I kinda don’t believe them lol. I think to myself, I wouldn’t buy this, well except for this rocking chair I made, I could buy one. This is my roadblock. Did you guys experience something like this?
