Be careful camping at Cannock Chase it can be very hairy at times and maybe best not to camp alone there. It has got a lot of history, folklore and many supernatural tales too but it can attract some very seedy elements in some areas. Keep safe and best wishes xx

Thanks for the heads up, the ghosts don't bother me but avoiding seedy people is probably a good idea!

nice to see a bunker cleaned out ! so many are full of rubbish and in a bad state of repair . They should be restored and kept for future generations as historic structures.

It’s really heartening to see that there are people willing to spend their time doing this. As someone who has lugged my share of litter out of bothies over the years I know what a thankless task this sort of think can be - so a big thank you to all involved!

@@Wild.cat.adventures well I used to be a blues/rock musician, singer, drummer, song writer lol & the tune you had at the start getting out of your blue meanie had me tapping the ye olde toes, & the "Goodies-esk" tune you end your videos with gives me a happy buzz lol 😆 anyway, great episode do thanks Cat, & hey least you didn't have to dig yourself out of your tent this day, & your "no wonder I'm single joke" resonated with me quite a lot lol as I often think similar thoughts. 🙂👍. Good afternoon Cat. What a nice thing to do. Is the bunker on public property? With a little more work, it could be a nice little shelter. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe and have fun.

Definitely a 'good trace' - and any idea what the bunker was used for? Maybe from WWII?
@Wild.cat.adventures3 күн бұрын
@@acrosscontinents the land was used in both world wars, but we think maybe it was to do with mining as there was no electrics or comms in there from what we could see. We left it much better than we found it, I hope it will stay that way for a while at least!
