I’d noticed a shift in your content and connectedness, but relationships change over time, so didn’t think much of it. I’m sorry to see you’ve broken up but appreciate the maturity in handling it, giving yourselves time to process, decide on direction, then announce the changes. It’s your life, so the expectation shouldn’t be that you’re an example to others, but being in the public eye as you are, that is a reality. You’ve shown a wonderful example of how uncoupling can work, when the relationship ends but not through any toxicity or harmful intent. I learned from my aunt & uncle that sometimes “we make better friends than spouses” is the only reason needed to separate (and all anyone else needs to know) and it can lead to a long and valuable friendship, one of support (in all things, including future relationships) and encouragement. I just woke up and opened Tiktok. First thing on my fyp was a vid from Sam's account about you two breaking up. i immediately went onto your youtube channel and watched this. I never pictured for you two to ever break up but what happens happens and I'm glad you guys are staying friends, one of the most important things is whether or not you can stat friends with someone you've endedna relationship with. I'm glad you two are taking this break as I imagine it can be hard enough owning a channel but to be doing so while going through a breakup and a move, that doesn't make maintaining it any easier.
