if you put more vertical suspension glitch on the top or closer to the top it will be more stabile

Actually it’s a common misconception it’s called the pendulum fallacy search for it and you will get many videos that explains it better than i ever could. But it’s scrap mechanic and not real life so you never know.

Why not build a literal dropship? You guys already have obscene amounts of fuel, just set up a handful of chests directly linked to a gas canister for your fuselage setup. Then have a weld point for your tank, and some kind of internal storage setup. You could build it like either an irl Osprey or a Halo Pelican, at least that's how I would do it. It would also give you a reason to build a landing pad in your tree base.

You can easily build 2 block suspension stabilizer (no need to upgrade them cuz it doesn't matter) and 2 thrusters - forward and upward. P.s. Instruction: USE BLOCKS OF THE SAME TYPE (like tier 1 wood only) > place a block #1 on the lift > place lvl1 2 block suspension on top of the block #1 > place the bearing on the side > place the block #2 on that bearing > place another bearing on top of this block > place the #3 block on a bearing > place the pipe on top, facing away from the suspension > take it from the lift > hit it untill you have the back side of the third block available > place the #4 block on that side take it on the lift > weld #4 and #1 together > delete all blocks except #4 MAKE ANOTHER ONE (REPEAT) > now take one glitched suspension on a lift > repeat the process but instead of placing the #4 block you weld another glitched suspension Result: you have 2x1x2 stabilizer glitch with the total of 2 suspensions and 2 blocks.

Dude, you really should build a thruster-based aircraft. I mean, you guys have no lack of fuel. To enhance your component hunting experience, is a piston-risen scaffold put on a vehicle to start at the top and work your way down.
