Hey everyone! Welcome to the continuation of our Scrap Mechanic co-op survival adventure! In this episode kAN and I finally take on a task that has been frequently requested by the comments! You guys have been wanting us to stop hanging our vehicles up on pillars and make a proper parking area, so here we are! Boy did it take a lot of chemicals but make sure to check out the action and see the shenanigans, maybe give us some pointers, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed playing it! when gathering a lot of materials why not decrease the amount of work needed to move the materials by making a temp crate/platform that holds all the chems/materials together that you can just weld to your base or a pillar then when you are done with the platform just remove it

just carry a resource collector, mounted to the vehicle, for the hay bot spines. when you return to base you can just toss it in front of the grinder and then you are not shaving backs all the time.

5:30 put vertical smoke pipe exhaust on your truck! Any time you tip over press a switch that turns them out 90 degrees to roll you back over. I've had this feature on my trucks since 2016. I never have to get out and reset my vehicles on a lift. check out my lets build a rocket truck video. 6:06 Then integrate a piston on one side of your truck cab wall with one bock on the piston making it flush with the roof set it to 10+ with a button. Now anytime you get rolled over to the roof you can press a button to roll over to the side and use the exhaust pipes to roll you back on your wheels. 👌 Not only are the exhaust pipes a nice cosmetic addition, they're also functional!

Simple organizing tip, stack crates tall so the full underside faces you, you can then place one item on the chest to know what's in each crate ... until labels get implemented.

The collectors could go in the 'extra' strip at the end of the lot, and it might be worth putting a rail, or something, just in case something decides to over-shoot and go into the water (when parking up, for example) 👍

Y'all need to build some type of fence or barrier to protect your vehicles from raids. Especially because the parking lot is right next to the farm 🙂

I love how KAN offhand disses the trucks, said something about deleting them, yet he *immediately* starts capitalizing on truck bed space when Kosmo wanted to drop a chest and get in, get out. Lol, even used the swiss cheese ramp to get into the chemicals without having to build a jig to mount it on, and KAN just starts pulling from the chest to stack the truck bed. Never kill Patches. I don't care about KAN's flat, featureless, *generic* flatbed truck w/ rails, but Patches has a name and a whole thing to keep doing, being the asymmetrical utility vehicle that you still use and freely modify, now that farming is pointless and you don't need the extra vehicle. An idea. Make KAN's truck into a mobile builder base, with chests that contain bulk raw materials and a Craftbot. You can do things like the Dry Dock you never made or connecting all the lakes and oceans together in one big trip, while storing extra crap away from your base. You don't even need big chests, since the point is compact off-site storage in a way that can be useful during distant builds. Additionally, it's better than deleting a perfectly good flat, featureless truck.

If you put a helipad at the trader you should put is above the crate-sucker with a hole in the bottom so you can land with a farmer in the claw.

31:30 - instead of just painting lines, build a frame of painted path light blocks (1 block high), not only does it mark the space, but helps prevent vehicles from rolling away if bumped or pushed.

You are correct about Fant's mod and smart chests which allow auto sorting into the chests using just a switch and filters.

The devs had said, before, that the wheels are the way they are due to their contact area. They surmised that, adding grip to the wheels messes up just driving with them.. surely, since they figured out sticky wheels, that something can be done with their current engine.

Soil Bag duplication glitch can happen from using vacuum pumps that are overlapping to loot the crops. So, it's probably from the harvesters the two of you created. I've used it before, to get a ton of soil plots.

The devs should also make tyres upgradable, so they increase in friction. If you then have a top-heavy build, you take lower tier tyres, but you can make a flatbed too, with low center of mass and the higher friction tyres.

If the bearing holding the wheel had higher friction it would actually make you slower because it would act as a permanent brake, but tyres need friction to get the forces onto the road.

this one would maybe suggest setting up the parking lot with the most used vehicles in the front, or in segments such as the tractors in one line the bobcat and Zamboni in another and so on also great video :D

There's a really good chance that *somewhere* in your world, there's a chemical pond adjacent to water. (Worlds are big. Stuff happens.) In those spots it's reasonable to build a pipeline to a craftbot or two. I've done that. Works. Still boring because crafting concrete takes so long.

you know if you make a separate platform that is connected by one block you can quickly unload the truck by breaking the one block and picking the platform up on a lift instead of picking every chemical up and then placing it again.

Please tell Kan that if he has the seasonal flu, he should take vitamin D3, and if he has that recent flu type, he should take vitamin D3 in 10 times the normal amount (I think it was 50000 mg, or something like that), and from the veterinary pharmacy the 1-word medicine which starts with "hiver", has "mec" in the middle, and ends with "tin" (word split up to appease the almighty algorithm), and take hot showers in which he uses cold water on his forehead and front-sides of the neck, to cool his brain and the blood from the arteries which gets to the brain, while the rest of his body gets hot enough for the flu to be more easily taken out by the immunity system. He sounded a bit unwell, in this video. You know, just in case.

You guys spotted a chemical plant on an island on a prior video. I'm surprised you didn't just make a concrete plant on the island, like you did with the gas station.

Unfortunately it wouldn't be able to run all the time unlike the gas station. The gas station is still in one of the 2 chunks that we have our base in, so fuel can be crafted while we're doing other stuff. The chemical plant would only pump/produce concrete when we're there :(

@@darealkosmo Right, but that would still streamline the process, right? I mean, you spent three days at the chemical pond, you were collecting water for quite a while too, then crafting it. If you setup a plant there, when you do need concrete, go over, dump a ton of cracked stone into a crate, and turn on the crafting bot (or two) and spend much less time!
