If you turn off the 4 wheel drive it will back up a lot better, it splits the oil up between the front and rear tires and the oil takes the easier path so it just spins the small tires in the rear and your big drive tires really aren't doing much to help you get out

Great job! I’m in NY also and there certainly has been no shortage of rain where I’m at. Had our combine stuck twice last week but got the beans finished. Got 20 acres of corn left and it doesn’t look good for getting it cut, lake effect snow in the forecast for us from tonight till Saturday night. We’re on muck soil and grow corn and beans mostly for a crop rotation out of vegetables so our ground gets really soft when it’s this wet, so a 25000# combine with a full grain tank makes a mess of things sometimes.

getting stuck with a combine sucks. one year we were got stuck lots. One neighbor got stuck 13 times doing 25 acres, then he left his last 2200 acres of durum till spring

That looked to easy. Back in 2014 here in central ND USA is was extremely wet. Most combines had a 5/8 inch cable attached to the front axle and run under the combine to the back axle through a holder on bottom of the axle with a hook to throw a recovery rope on to get pulled out. Most every one had a 4wd at the end of the field or maybe you grabbed the neighbors tractor if he was near by.
