We cant believe we are in KOREA 🇰🇷 | First Impressions of SEOUL, KOREA (This place is CRAZY)

We cant believe we are in Korea. It has been a dream of ours to visit Korea and over the next week we will be exploring Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. We have so much planned for our Korea trip but we decided to start our adventures around Seoul by visiting one of the most iconic places in Korea, The Gyeongbokgung Palace. We also decided to dress up in traditional Korean outfits, known as Hanbok's. Another traditional place to visit in Korea is The Bukchon Hanok Village. Here you can see traditional Korean houses known as Hanok's. This village has Hanoks over 600 years old. We finished our first days in Seoul by exploring The Nasman Tower, AKA The Seoul Tower. This gave us incredible views over the city.

In fact, some of the hanbok at hanbok rental shops near Gyeongbokgung Palace are not traditional hanbok, but fake hanbok. The Korean government has allowed visitors wearing hanbok to enter for free to promote Korea's traditional culture and traditional hanbok, but there are increasingly cases of rental shops renting unidentified hanbok that are farther away from traditional hanbok. This is something the Korean government needs to address. And in late spring, winter, and early autumn, you should wear summer hanbok to avoid the heat. The type of hanbok varies by season, and due to climate change, Korea's heat is more severe, longer, and hotter than seasons.

i love how jolly happy you guys are. just a note on google maps... the reason it doesn't work is because google doesn't want to pay taxes in Korea, so the Korean gov is not sharing map data with them. Now there is an alternative: Naver maps. and it has an english version too, and it functions just like google maps (it can also help you with public transport like busese and subways too). FYI, Naver is the google equivalent, homegrown local tech company.

You may entered 5th at 경복궁 station in line no 3. It's closet stop but I recommend take line no 5, stop 광화문, exit 2, go up 400 meters you can encounter more impressive and dramatic HUGE main entrance of course more fun site to see. Anyway keep happy traveling!

as a south korean, i will give some information about my country. seoul is temparate climate, and busan is subtropical climate. our country is hotter than senegal in summer, and it's colder than iceland in winter. if you are planning to visit south korea, i advise you to come here in april or may.

As a fellow Irishman I can't recommend Korea highly enough . I spent two weeks there last year (mostly in Seoul but also had a couple of nights in Busan). The people are very friendly, the food is, shall we say, an acquired taste (although Dolsot Bibimbap is heavenly). I stayed at two hotels by City Hall, they were great too. Korea really is a wonderful country and I plan to return next year.

South Korea is the only known country in the world where dogs are routinely and intensively farmed for human consumption. Up to a million dogs are kept in thousands of facilities, left exposed to the elements in small, barren, filthy cages and given little food. Many suffer from disease and malnutrition and all are subjected to terrible, daily neglect. The methods used to kill the dogs are brutal-electrocution is most common. They are slaughtered in full view of other dogs, and their final moments are painful and terrifying.

Europeans eat pet dogs stolen from streets. Japanese ate humans. Chinese southeast Asians eat pet dogs stolen from streets. Korea is very civilized and only consume farmed special dogs for medicinal purposes. Most people outside of Korea eat dogs stolen from people's pet dogs and caught on streets and eat any dog they can buy for food.
