I'm not embarassed, these dudes don't represent me, even though we share a nationality. I think it's detrimental to us Romanians to have our heads down in shame when travelling to Europe or meeting an European. Why should I keep my head down, I didn't do anything, I am just an honest, legally working woman, minding my business. I hope my fellow Romanians would stop this behaviour of being ashamed.

I`m Polish. I`m in Prague 10 times a year since 6 years. I trully love this city and I`m really happy to be a part of it`s cultural, music life. Thanks to your channel I`ve visited several cool places and had a lot of good tips. To be honest I`m super pissed about this guy and if there is anything I can do to bring him to justice I will gladly help! Remember, great majority of Poles really loves Czech Republic. I really do! Better be careful, you never know how desperate people might react. Since you’re so committed you should make an official statement at the police about your exposure of the scammers, and then make a special disclosure video that in case ur hurt, who are the persons that might be in disagreement with you, and hope they see this video.

Well done. I lived in Prague for 9 years and my wife is Czech, thankfully we never ever ran into an issue. Only once did i encounter a person offering to change EUR to CZK after I arrived to Prague in 2010. It’s actually one of the guys in your previous videos.

at christmas i was in prague, and i met this guy. i asked im if he kenw that what he was doing was a crime and he tried to hit me and then ran. Keep it up guys! Prague is beatifull, and should be kept clear of these guys!

I've been to Prague (from the Netherlands) five times in the past two years, and I was never approached by a scammer. Thanks to the Honest Guide's warnings, I knew what to do if it had happened. I also traveled alone. Prague is a safe city, and so romantic and beautiful. I've missed Prague since the day I left!

I'm an immigrant to the Netherlands, and I'm still charmed by its culture. But in the last couple of years, I have fallen in love with Prague, also. If I was rich, I would have flats in both countries, and share my time between them!

We just came from Singapore & we encountered this guy at the db trains train station where we were buying the actual ticket from ticket machine but when we paid the tickets didn’t come out from the machine, I think it’s faulty but it deducted money from our card, so we were approached by him, he took out his money offering to buy tickets for us but luckily for us we watched your videos & avoided him at all cost. its weirdly fascinating the dynamic you have with these guys when they're not actively scamming since you both know you can't catch them if they're not trying anything and they can't try something if they know there's cameras on them. obviously they wont admit to anything but the way they share their slimy pride with you and brag without admitting anything is kind of amusing in a fucked up way

In Polish it's złodziej, 'zło' means "evil" and 'dziej' from word 'dzieje się, dziać się' means "happen", so złodziej means someone who does evil. 'Dobro' means "good", so 'Dobrodziej" is someone who does good things. Dobrego dnia Wam!

in Philippines we have this scamming LAW. "Article 1338 of the Civil Code of the Philippines states that there is fraud when, through insidious words or machinations of one of the contracting parties, the other is induced to enter into a contract which, without them, he would not have agreed to." and the punishment for scamming in the Philippines? "(Article 315, Revised Penal Code.) Penalties. The penalty may be imprisonment of two months to 20 years, depending on the amount involved."

I have seen that Romanian guy at Airport arrival area. He wears reflector vest inside his overcoat. And he goes to arriving tourists and offer help. I have seen him exchanging money with one tourist, and within few seconds he vanished from the area.

Use this QR code" and then it is some website with a collection of basic rules that help tourists not getting trapped/scammed.

I want to congratulate you for your work. I've seen a couple of KZbin channels doing this "vigilante" work, because the laws aren't well define but so many of them fall in this pit and do illegal things in order to "catch" these people which are at best fined by the Police. Don't get me wrong, I do want the exposure so people aren't caught by money scammers or whatever it is they are doing (as said, multiple KZbin channels) but I don't think it's alright for people to try and hit the scammers for example. You kept it at least most of the times well within the rule of law and acted calm and professional. Big congrats to you guys! Keep up the good work!

You should put up PSA posters warning people of such scams, with those scammers featured as the faces doing the 'talking' (in a print poster, would be printed words with the implication that he was the presenter). Then people will recognize the faces from the adsl

Great job exposing the scammers. Next do the taxi cabs. I got scammed by a taxi driver who had a very official-looking schedule of fees. I paid $80 to get to my hotel from the train station. Then I ran into another couple who paid $50 to go four blocks.

I once met this guy in 2013 while visiting Prague. He was standing in a gate near the Old Town Square I think near Iron Street. There was a Chinese restaurant nearby, in the basement I think, with no limit (you pay once and eat as much as you want). The restaurant was popular with Polish tourists so it mostly caught Poles. My friends and I refused to exchange money because we had seen a Polish movie "Sztos" about currency scammers. I wonder if this restaurant is still in operation today and where exactly it was located.

These videos are just straight entertaining, and you do a lot more work than the actual cops on finding these people, I don't see why czech doesn't invest more money into their cops and spend more time creating better laws, as that's a huge problem and affecting not just tourists, but actual residents.
