Dan I’m so jealous right now!! What a great trip!!! You guys were nailing them. The poop comment was hilarious. It’s a fact of life that we all deal with but nobody talks about it in their shows 🤣 Your show is so real. Love it

I wasn't sure I should have kept that in there or not (poopy waders)....but I thought, what the heck, that's real-life stuff...Lol. Thank you for the kind words!

Nice trip. Home river has been uncharacteristically stingy this year, so didn't even venture out today / this weekend. Glad someone is catching. ☮ from Idaho.

Dan look into Lake Almanor located in Chester California. The Browns will go up Hamilton Branch in September, the visiablity is ussually 25 - 35' You can see them sitting on the bottom of the river. I took my friend there and told him about these monsters, he didn't believe me until he went with me fishing.

What flies are you useing ?

We were using sparkle minnows, sculpzilla (olive), balanced leeches (olive), chironomids, midges, pre emergers (mayfly), and gummy midges
@joewaterman521610 ай бұрын
That was awesome! For the sculpzila fly were you using a 5 or 6 wt. rod?

I was using a 5 weight for the sculpzila and a heavy shooting line
