Patterz and I randomized our pokemon starters in Scarlet and Violet but theres a twist! We Won’t be choosing our starters! We will have to blindly pick pokemon only knowing how they evolve! Then Once we have our pokemon we will build our teams for a battle!

Ursaring cannot in fact evolve into Bloodmoon Ursaluna because it was an entire boss fight in the Teal Mask. Bloodmoon Ursaluna is an Ursaluna who washed up on Kitakami’s shores and out of desperation to survived seemingly mutated and adapted by slathering itself in tougher mud and somehow getting a weird green eye to gain night vision, as well as the blood moon laser powers. The same may apply to AZ’s Floette who might finally get added in properly in PLZA.

There’s a calm mind set that’s just giga broken it’s so strong it’s considered the same tier as box art legendaries in competitive play.

I mean, if they do that, they should also be transparent with other evolution methods as well though (Like say which stone it is they evolve with or with friendship, if its during the night or the day). That would make it way to easy though, since that would be really specific and would narrow it down a lot. Like... there are not a lot of Pokemon that evolve at level 36 aside from the starters. Its the same with the Psuedo's, most of which evolve around level 50. Like, if they say Dawn Stone, there are literally 2 options. Pre-gen 7 regional bugs also evolve at early levels, so you can already narrow that down as well. Saying the level is way to easy eventually.

Supersweet syrup only works the first time the pokemon enters battle, so arcanine's evasiveness wasn't lowered

Hi Female watcher ✌️ Nice to see female poke fans getting remembered. What kind of content might grab my attention... Hmmmm. Oh, LMAO. What about, "We catch the cutest starters for our opponent, and then we battle?" Randomized abilities would probably help, and maybe a reward or punishment system when catching to spice things up. Also, when it comes to these videos, the two opponents haven't been describing pokemon the same. I think this way would be fair: Pinsir: this pokemon is a standalone evolution Charizard: this pokemon is fully evolved Combee: this pokemon evolves by level up, but only if female Vespiquen: this pokemon is fully evolved Weepingbel: this pokemon evolves by leaf stone Etc If more than one pokemon falls in the "level up" or "standalone" category, you could then specify a generation or block of generations (maybe 1/2, 3/4/5, 6/7, 8/9) Edit: This idea is interesting to me because a lot of strong pokemon this generation are just kinda really fugly, and there's just in general not a lot of reason to use cute Pokemon. I think it'd be wholesome and entertaining to see how the players make their cuties stronk Edit 2: to outline what I said in the first part, the beginnings of the video asks if I know which two pokemon evolve by dawn stone, but I watch Tobin describe Growlithe as "evolving by stone" with two level ups on the field instead of "evolves by fire stone". It was the only piece of info Patterz had on the field, and it wasn't given, and it doesn't match the beginning of the video Edit 3: my comment got a like so I want to add: I also pitch catching the opponent's pokemon for it rather than your own so there isn't a draw to catch strong mons for yourself. Instead, you're about to get judged by your opponent for what you thought they'd think is cute

If you repeat this video concept, I'd like to recommend that for pokemon that evolve by level up you also have to say how many stages it has, if it has a branching line, or a regional variant. This will help split up the largest and most "generic" of evolution methods and might lead to some more interesting choices. But at the same time, there are enough mons that fall into each category I don't think it would end up as "too much" information either.
