Not shocking that this kid would pull a move like that. Younger generation doesn't see things that way, he's not aware of the difference between good business and bad business. He sold his shoes and that's all he cares about. Unfortunately that's the mentality of a lot of young resellers at these events. Establishing relationships with other sellers is key to long term success where both sides can eat.

We all want to make money, but there seems to be little integrity when it comes business nowadays. It's a "we" thing, not a "me" thing. My personal experience, I understand both sides because I had so many people said how much they love and good deals I have then “I’ll be back” means never come back. In addition, money talk, I think no one would say no for a higher offer plus store resellers often lowball the hell out of these small resellers (not saying you guys, always have love for your content. KU let him know very clearly after the shoes are checked he will be buying (KU came back minutes later) and he could also come by his booth and he would of paid there. And it had nothing to do with getting a higher offer. He just sold them in his own. And we filmed it cus it keeps happening at events and your word as a man means more then any dollar bill. That’s the point we are trying to get to. Flaking is a form of business we don’t agree with nor does anyone. If he didn’t want to do the deal he could of said that from the start rather then agreeing and shaking hands to do the deal. And all this Could of been avoided.

Depending on the situation and who is buying we hold until the end of the day. We do it all the time. But if for some reason we can’t hold the shoe WE WILL LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW THAT right then and there. Not shake hands and agree to a deal and just put it back out for sell after he leaves…. But the point of this situation is not about him “Not” holding the shoes, it’s about him agreeing to the deal shaking hands and then just going back on his word. If he didn’t want to hold the shoes that’s completely fine! Just let us know that instead of agreeing on a deal then flaking on it.

He agreed to take them over to the booth to get them double checked. If that’s something he wasn’t wanting to do then he didn’t have to. One bad deal can go along way in this game especially at a SneakerCon event. It’s sneaker law once you make a deal and shake on it, it’s locked 🔒. Can’t be changing your mind. The only thing that’s weird to me is asking the booth to get it legit check first, who got time to run that down if you’re running a booth. He should’ve grabbed the kicks on the spot, got them legit checked himself. If they were fakes, easily go back to that booth and get a refund. Lessons learned on both sides.

That is not the best way to do buisiness, However, this is a Fle Market type situation. You guys couldn't figure out a deal right then and there that involved you actually paying so then it's not a deal. Walk over right there or asap and have them authenticated and pay the man. And it had nothing to do with him making less money it had to do with him just agreeing to our deal and then just selling to someone else.

Someone else comes along offering more money than you did I don’t care what we shook hands on, if the money isn’t in my hand when we shook on it the deal isn’t done and the sneaker is still available. The whole Point of reselling sneakers is to make a profit on your item. No one is selling sneakers to break even. So if the market went up and I didn’t check when I shook your hand but check when you walked away not buying the sneakers well that’s your loss. If you knew the deal was too good to be true then you should have bought it and not walk away for ten minutes. I totally agree with the seller and not you guys on this one. It’s an open market and you do what you want with your sneakers. If you feel that’s bad business than don’t do business with those people again but that doesn’t make the seller wrong for trying to get top dollar for his item
