Now his voice is smoothed out and lost it's charm.. Though I know Trey Parker stopped doing his voice gravely, because it was rough on his vocal chords. I wonder if there's any kind of distortion tech that could artificially add it into the voice.

15:04 That Shelly episode (Stan's sister) is a classic. I used to have it recorded on VHS and watched it repeatedly, because we only had local TV for most of my childhood. So I didn't have Comedy Central, where this show aired. I wonder why don't don't do more Shelly episodes. This episode established her as a great character, but they barely use her, from all the episodes that I've seen.

Season 5 is a good place to start watching South Park. The earlier episodes are also good, but the series really matured and understood it's identity in Season 5 and stayed gold for at least 10 seasons after that. Modern stuff is good as well although I've kinda fallen off.
