There are plenty of places in Russia that are only accessible by railway transport. Most of them are located in remote parts of Siberia and Far East of the country. However, in just 50 km from Black Sea, most desirable area of millions of Russia, in the mountains of Northern Caucasus, is a narrow-gauge railway that has its own "train of life" also known as Matrix. It transfers passengers and delivers goods to the villages with no motor roads being a single link between remote settlements and civilization.
Timecodes:
00:00 - Introduction to Apsheronsk Narrow-Gauge Railway
02:18 - Secret job of Angela Merkel
03:13 - The 5 Stars Caucasian Hotel
04:35 - Loading of Bread
05:00 - Departure
06:46 - Mountain river Pshekha
07:23 - Cutting fallen trees with a chainsaw
08:09 - Passing by a semi-abandoned farm
08:48 - Waterfall
09:00 - Wolf's Gates and WW2 Memorial
09:27 - Switching. Desyatyy Kilometr village.
10:05 - We stuck in snow. Cleaning the track.
11:39 - Epic arrival to Kushinka
13:02 - Maratuki river
13:37 - Arrival to Novyy Rezhet, the terminus.
14:26 - Sketchy bridge
14:50 - Return trip
January 2022.

The videos are great because they are taken in places that not everyone visits. There are literally hundreds of videos of polished up spoiled KZbinrs in Moscow but none on the ground where you go. I love the less popular places you visit and put in the spotlight. Keep up the great work! You have my support from West Texas!

I really love your work. I have been curious to visit Russia since i was a child (im from Finland). I know alot of Russian vloggers and foreign Russian vloggers like Bald and Bankrupt but your vids are so much deeper in the actual "lore" about Russian places. I love to see Russian fields and forests (when it's summer) in a morning fog. That's the real stuff i can't find anywhere else.

I’ve been a long time subscriber to your channel and this is one of my favourite videos that you’ve shared so far and came back to watch it again this morning. Coming from a railway family I’ve always had a deep interest in different countries railways and how they serve their communities. One of my ‘bucket list’ wishes is to journey on the Trans Siberian Railway or possibly the BAM and spend a couple of weeks exploring some of the places along the routes. This is a great testament to those that work on the service and also those that rode and helped clearing snow and trees to ensure it completed its journey for the day as people were counting on it for their fresh bread and also to get to where they needed. The drone and camera shots were brilliant and the area truly looks beautiful, it would be interesting to see it during different seasons too. Thank you Ivan for sharing this excellent video and all of your previous content. Best wishes to you and your family from England

There you go delivering bread. Good to help out, yes? Can we assume this area is off the grid?--No internet, radio, and TV with limited electricity? People dream of such places, of being free of information overload. You are living it.

The area along the railroad is supplied with electricity and mobile connection. The Internet is only available in Chernigovskoye. Some locals have satellite TV. Soon this area may begin developing if the construction of the highway across Caucasian mountains to Black Sea will be completed. When it comes to Chernigovskoye

I love every one of your videos and appreciate the time and effort you take to search out these unique and interesting places that we might otherwise never know about. I short journey on a narrow gauge track can be just as fascinating as an epic journey of thousands of kilometres. I also noticed your hard work in trying to improve your English and your pronunciation of gauge is better than it was but could still be better. You pronounce more like "gorge" but in fact it should sound more like "Gayj" ie gay with a J sound at the end. As a native English speaker, I would probably pronounce this word the same way if I had come across it for the first time.
