Good morning Doug and Eevee! I agree on the dishwasher and garbage disposal. We took out our garbage disposal when we bought our house and we’ve never had a dishwasher and don’t want one! People today rely too much on needless things and get lazy in the process! Your videos make me happy. You two and your family are what makes America the great Country it is!

Doug and Eevee, I bought a 6” electric saw a few weeks ago, (Makita brand), and have cleaned up dead tree limbs all by myself. It uses same battery pack as our drill. I bought it due to your huge tree cleanup a while back on your homestead and appreciated how well your Dewalt electric saw performed! Thank you for showing how different tools work as they certainly make a difference! Have a great day there dear family!

Wait…wait…wait…. Who cares what name Doug calls his wife. That’s not what this channel is about. I have learned that “I can” from this channel which gives me more encouragement than I thought possible. They share redo tips and tricks and useful stuff. Anything beyond that is nobody’s business. These r good, kind, hard working individuals and what goes on after the camera goes off is irrelevant. Guess I don’t understand why anyone would make such a big deal out of nothing. It takes a lot of time to make a video and the edit is longer. I’m grateful they put the time necessary into it.

Doug's thorough explanations have given me the confidence to tackle a few small projects. I definitely will not be rewiring a house but switching to GFCI outlets is in my future. Eevee and Doug are an amazing team! Working together makes it much more efficient, easier and faster. Otherwise Doug would be making many more trips under the mobile home, draining his energy and impacting progress. I am looking forward to seeing the next projects. I think where you are putting the hot water heater is a good idea. It will be in its own closet. Every water heater that I have had that failed started to leak. Have you ever thought about installing a drain in the floor of the water heater closet? So, when it does fail and leak it will be less likely to cause damage to the rest of the mobile home.

I have been rebuilding our mobile home for the last 8 years. Living in one while doing floors is a Royal pain. I know you have done others. I have noticed the resale on a mobile as a difficult situation because banks refuse to finance. No one has 50k or better laying around to buy a used, refurbished mobile. My neighbor is having great difficulty selling hers. We do live in a rural park. The park was renting mobiles, but have been selling them as a rent here buy here situation because they cannot sell them outright.

Something that I wasn’t aware of until a saw a “I was today years old” video of how you can take the dryer door off and rotate it where you can open the dryer door from the right side instead of the left. I immediately looked at mine afterwards, and yes it can be switched. So swapping the dryer and washing from the norm definitely won’t be a problem. With a standard “old type” dryer anyway.
