Today we spray an entire car in maybe the World's Brightest Orange Pigment. Like usual, this video was done just for fun. We have no long term testing to confirm if this pigment is suitable for cars long term. This was not easy - and is not recommended to replicate. It's so bright you can't see the details on the car anymore. It reminds me of the world's blackest black you did. It's just a solid floating color with wheels and windows 😂

The pigment is so bright that the color is reflecting onto your skin in the booth! I love it! 10 out of 5. Hands down!

Heck yes! This is the neon equivalent of the blackest black - it literally eats reflections and shadows! Absolutely wild.

Had the same thoughts. It looks super flat, almost like musou black or whatever it's called. I do however notice on the edges there seems to be a kind of falloff where it appears to become a bit yellow, but it's subtle tho. Would I rock this kind of paint job, I doubt it lol, there's no depth unfortunately, but still quite a cool idea for a specific use case such as "green screen" cars or something like that for film use

It's like a reverse musou black. It makes everything around it look darker. I would love to see this in combination with musou to see the outcome and the differences. Or a stripe of Musou to see what happens.

That looks like powdered Cheetos. It's also like Vanta Black in how it masks lines and gives a blob of color look.

I like everyone's suggestion of painting all the lines, and contours with mouso black. That's what i was thinking as well. What i want to see though, would be this color with like a blue/purple hyper shift. Bring all the sunset colors into it. Basically what I've been looking for. Though I'm not sure how that would turn out if mixed all together.

I would love to see this mixed with a dark metallic red. I think you could get an amazing effect. I'll keep that pigment in mind the next time I need to be OSHA approved.

I love it and actually think it's great for a dip color. Not something I would want long term, but for Halloween? You betcha. 5 for a fun, short term color, 0 for a long term color. And now I need to go buy some Creamsciles.

This literally looks like you're driving around a live, lava car. ..no joke! Only thing missing is the dripping lava on the ground. Such an intense color, it doesn't even look real. ..almost animated if you will. I love it & GREAT project. ..this is an absolute mind blower! That color actually has the same weird effect that the blackest black has. The color is so powerful that any physical contours or features on the car just blend into the color.

So, what would happen if you threw some of that Orange to Black on top? Would that help body lines/styling pop back, or does that particular product rely on the base to be the black? This is a cool/crazy color that is so intense it almost turns to a solid flat color it appears.

You should try this with Stuart Semple’s seasonal Orangest Orange pigment, it should be in stock this time of year, and not only is it CRAZY strong orange, but it also fluoresces a glowing orange under blacklight for added fun! (And when i say glowing, i mean ow, my eyes, i now have an orange symbol burnt into my eyes)

@@tahn7010 right? Or any of their other insane pigments. If only they could get enough unicorn milk, or even crazier, if they could get enough “Rainbow Liquid” (aka the living crystal material that makes moving scintillating patterns across the surfaces)… so many options.

@@tahn7010 a similarly strong reactant they could also test would be United Nuclear’s line of industrial marking glow pigments, which have a brighter and longer glow that Semple’s “Glow” line, and in more colors, but im not sure if they would want to risk the mix, how it would play with the coat, or what not, but i do know that they are very affordable when you buy at industrial scale. Actually… Semple’s stuff is pretty affordable if you buy at industrial scale too

I’m bias because I love orange. In 2007 I painted my ‘06 heritage softail in tangerine pearl, with pewter pearl flames and it was awesome. I love this orange.

As a fan of orange, I have always said you need the right shade on the right car for it to work. I had my doubts when I did saw the mix but the final product works.

You should do a chroma key green or blue now and edit in different patterns onto the car as you showcase it lol! Edit: you can also chroma key with neon orange like this too in an outdoor area with a lot of green and gray. You can also chroma key with white and black as well, but those are a bit harder. Chroma key = blue/green screen effect. My film school is showing. Lol

Lol, I just mentioned in another comment that a use case for this kind of "flat" colour would be to use the car as a green screen type vehicle for film use haha. It's just wayyy too flat for my liking, and I honestly don't really see a different reason other than chroma keying the car

Add that pigment to Mandarin orange at the same amount. Then, go over it with ZGR. Finish up with HOK tangerine candy concentrate in glossy top coat.

I like the color but I think which car or truck you put it on makes a huge difference. Another commenter mentioned the body lines sort of hide in that color and I agree. That is a wild color tho
